Term Definition
Fearn

The third letter of the Ogham tree alphabet, corresponding to the letter F, meaning alder.

Fehu

The first rune of the Elder Futhark, representing the letter F, meaning cattle.

Filter

A component of a construct, designed specifically to block or lessen particular types of input. May also refer to a practice of the mind itself, for that purpose.

Flaring

Making metaphysical energy , such as a psi ball, visible to the naked eye. Also may refer to sending significant amounts of energy into ones own field, to be more easily located in psionic scanning practice.

Focal Mediation

A form of meditation in which one focuses all of their attention on one thing, to the exclusion of all else.

Fogbank

The projection of a visual/sensory fogbank designed to obscure an individuals psionic signature or presence. Employed to make the individual difficult to find via random scanning or obscure them during periods of high energy use.

Freud, Sigmund

Sigmund Freud (IPA: [ˈziːkmʊnt ˈfʁɔʏt]), born Shlomo Sigismund Freud (May 6, 1856 – September 23, 1939), was an Austrian physician who founded the psychoanalytic school of psychology.[1] Freud is best known for his theories of the unconscious mind and the defense mechanism of repression and for creating the clinical practice of psychoanalysis for curing psychopathology through a particular form of dialogue between a patient and a psychoanalyst. He is also renowned for his redefinition of sexual desire as the primary motivational energy of human life which is directed toward a wide variety of objects, as well as his therapeutic techniques, including the use of free association, his theory of transference in the therapeutic relationship, and the interpretation of dreams as sources of insight into unconscious desires.

Frontloading

Providing a person with information, clues or expectations that cloud or skew the results of psionic activity. One can be frontloaded by one's "own" expectations or knowledge of a target or event; acceptance of assumptions before beginning a psi activity.

Future Selection
