As many of you may have heard, Texas is under some of the worst drought conditions it has seen since modern recordings have been taken. I started to post this request a while back and as if in response to thinking it we had a few scattered showers that day. Unfortunately it was not enough. Now there are several firestorms ripping through the state and they are endangering lives and property. Look up "Bastrop TX" in the news.
My request: Anyone who has at least a basic understanding of weather should focus thoughts on making the air pressure over the entire state slowly lower. This will allow moisture to enter, including rain. We need rain really bad but I do not want anyone to try to make rain outright! The conditions here would cause it to become a thunderstorm which will only start more fires.

I do have family in the affected areas and there is the potential that it could also cause me to evacuate from where I am.
