Hello,
I am a 15 year old psion, so bear with me on this question: Does anybody out there now any basic electrokinesis techniques? And, if possible, technokinesis techniques.

Re: Technique Request

Hmm, Well I want to say first : Welcome to the forum.
Second. I want to give you a link.
[url=http://www.psionicsonline.net/forums/index.php/topic,1625.0.html]http://...

The link goes to " Acceptable Kinesis Terms ".

As you can probably guess by now.. I am not going to tell you a mystical technique that you can practice to shoot sparks from your fingers.. Honestly.. that just isn't happen. As for technokinesis... I personally have never even heard of that.. I can probably safely assume it deals with manipulating sound. Am I right?

If so, I am going to have to crush your hopes a second time around. There is no way of shooting amazing sound blasts from your fingers to crumble your enemies. I may have just gotten ahead of myself... but typically when people come to psionic forums and shoot out -kinesis terms that are... 'sketchy' to say the least, they expect to become the next Gohan.

So sorry If I'm being rude, but what your I assume your looking for simply.. doesn't exist.

Even in the world of psi, there are things that just don't exist. Sorry

Re: Technique Request

Saintbob: he never claimed to want to shoot electricity out of his fingers to "destroy his enemies", he just asked for basic exercises. :P  How about suggesting some?

Hi Colt--

Saintbob already linked to the "acceptable kinesis terms" thing, so I'm not going to say much on that.

As for basic techniques for PK on electricity and technology, essentially the same concept as regular PK.  For example, a lot of people practice PK on a psiwheel at first.  To practice PK for electricity, pick a simple task and work on it.  Maybe obtain a small light or LED and see if you can make it get brighter or dimmer.  If you have some equipment like a multimeter for measuring current and such accurately, that would help you determine how much if at all you are affecting the electricity.  One of my friends on another psionic forum a while back posted a youtube video of him affecting the reading on a multimeter quite dramatically via psi, so it is possible.  I'd recommend learning a bunch about electricity as well, so that you get a bit of an understanding of how it all works and what exactly you should focus on manipulating.

As for PK on technology, I would think one of the easiest ways to practice this would be basically micro-PK: try to affect the output of a random number generator.  There are several sites on the internet that generate real sets of random numbers to practice PK on (as opposed to pseudo-random number generators that only appear random but are based on a formula).  Beyond that, how would you like to affect technology with PK?  Start with that and chart out some ways to work up to that starting with basic tasks.  It can be used in very useful ways actually--I have a friend who is a computer tech who uses micro-PK to fix computers that wouldn't even boot.  Note, however, that a lot of people who are just starting out with PK tend to *break* more electronics that they are around rather than fixing them, so be careful when you're practicing.  Keep your data backed up, don't practice on your parent's expensive laptop, etc. :P

Good luck!

Well you would have to

Well you would have to remain calm in order to have control over your psi wheel. If you end up getting excited or depressed, you\'ll lose control and you can\'t spin the psi wheel until your calm again. As Martial Psion helped me with what I have trouble with, I\'m just helping anyone who might not get an answer soon. So I\'ll be on alot now. Anyways, just remain calm once you get a connection. Soon enough, you\'ll be able to spin that psi wheel all you want without trying. But practicing will help anyone with anything they have trouble with, even with the psi wheel. I hoped this helped you in any way.

Advice

First off, congratulations on moving a psi wheel!

Like my first time I moved a psi wheel, I got excited and the next time I tried, it didn\'t move. You\'ll have to remain calm, and I think a bit more practice will help.
