Hi there, i'm new to the site and i really owe someone for refering me here!
Anyway, i had a question about "second sight" i'm putting it in quotation marks because i don't know what to call it really... When i turned 13 i found that i could suddenly hear and hear spirits which naturally startled me. I'm not sure if i was able to do this previously because i'm suddenly having flashbacks of similar occurences as i type this...
one of which was when i was about 5, i remember going through my closet looking for something and hearing a voice call my name which to a 5 year old was very frightening. It didn't help that my brothers would tell me ghost stories about the house we lived in, i remember a similar occurance when i was about 10 or 11 i was playing my sega master system on an old VHF TV and as soon as i turned the console off a voice came out of the static telling me to turn the TV off and get out!
Back to the main point i don't remember another occurance before i turned 13 other than seeing the occasional person in the house where they shouldn't be then disappearing... Anyway when i turned 13 i suddenly had all these voices calling me whenever i was alone in a quiet place, maybe they called me at other times and i just wasn't tuned into it? i don't know... i'd also notice people who appeared to be out of place and that would just stare at me if i glanced in their direction.
i honestly had no idea what was going on and it was freaking me out, i told my mother about it eventually and she was rather ambigious in her answer... basically all she told me to do if i didn't want it to happen was to tell the people and voices to leave me alone. I didn't want to do that straight away because i wanted to see where it would go but eventually i gave in when i kept seeing a woman watching me in the shower with my mind's eye, which now that i look back at it may have been paranoia.
After that it gradually died down and i stopped hearing and seeing things. Now it's 6 years later and i regret my decision, i was wondering if anyone here could help me to relearn how to see and hear again? i'd also be interested in hearing about similar cases...
