Exciting title! Not so exciting subject. Just a question! ;D
While waiting at my bus stop today with the good o'le Canadian winter (-29C without wind chill) i was sitting on the bench and decided to praxtice my EM skills. I started screwing around with moving it thorugh my body and for the first time I tried doing a psi ball without both hands, instead I got it to just pop out and levitate above my one upturned palm. I visualized it that time as a tiny ball of glowing, translucent flame radiating orange light and heat to my lonesome bench and after few seconds I feel as though my legs were sitting in direct sunlight. There was a radiator warmness just passing over them. I guess this was probably because since I imagined it as a warm fire I was basically programming it to give off warmth (not consciously but I bet my brain really wanted some warmth then!). After I let it go my jeans cooled down and my legs started feeling cold again. My question is was I just making myself feel warm or was I actually changing the temperature? I personally think it was the latter as my jeans slowly cooled down after, and the snow on my boots directly under the psiball melted while the areas of my boots facing away were still thoroughly powdered with ice crystals.

Well, if what you say is true then, great job on making a temperature omitting psi ball.
I believe (if what you say is true) it is actually warm, because the snow as you said " melted". But im not positive, i was not there.

I sadly enough have been to addicted to an mmorpg lately (as I do usually put practigcing on hiatus for the winter for some reason) to practice much or read the forums but what I can tell you from the memory I still retain that you most likely did emit a little heat. I used to shake my hands and grit my teeth from how hot I accidently made the psiballs sometimes, which would more than likely be sensing the heat needing to be hot, but from where you sadid it melted the snow it could be you made yourself put off more heat, but it's more probable that your psiball did it.

Hard to tell, but it was most likely actual energy- in that case, a good job. In the other case, good job there, too, I guess.

How do we answer a question like this? EXPERIMENT!!!!

Try it again. This time have a thermometer present. Keep it distant from your body and attempt to warm it using the same technique. Note the readings. Be outside if you need to; rather than attempting to emulate the "need" for heat.

You will know if you are indeed generating this effect if you can witness a significant change in temperature occurring as you intend it to.

Record the data. Alter the experiment, try again.

Good Luck!

I would if we had a single thermometer in the house :'(

you should be able to pick up an alright one pretty cheap i think...digital would probably cost more...

if you cant use a thermometer, then you can try using ice cubes, and measuring the rate at which they melt...for example...melt a couple in your house with the heating at say, 25 degrees, and time them. then try the technique on the ice cubes and time the rate they melt. if the technique is working, the ice should melt faster

As a general rule, if you care about the outcome of the experiment, you do what is needed to do it right. Over the last seven years, I have spent over $30,000 JUST on equipment and supplies for my studies in psionics alone. I have a laser thermometer that can measure the heat radiating off of a dog’s butthole from 100 feet away.

If you REALLY want to answer your own questions, you can go to the grocery/drug/dollar store and buy a $3 tabletop room thermometer and mess with that.

That's kind of funny! Smiling

I'm not sure I'm quite as nuts about studying psi as you so I'm planing something a little less spectacular then that.

Erik, you really spend that much when testing Psionics? Shocked

It's a complete scientific investigation funded by a primary research group. It gets spendy.

But I will say, with the results we have gotten, it has been worth every cent.

hey, just wanted to say that i think you really did create a heat-generating psi ball. I've been able to do kind of the same thing but I live over here in bc where it doesn't hey to cold 'eh Sticking out tongue I'll be getting a thermomiter (I know i can't spell) to see if I'l really doing to soon too!
