As I spent last night going back & fourth from moving heavier objects to lighter objects. I started to feel like the weight barrier was in my head, rather than an objective reality; a lifetime of conditioning. It's like when I was first able to play the guitar well enough for anyone to listen to. I had to feel connected and think of myself as a guitarist rather than someone trying to learn. So, I started feeling that way about PK last night, and the heavier objects seemed the same as the lighter ones. It's like I'm projecting belief. Anyone else having similar thoughts or experiences?

Re: PK Psychology

I get the same feeling when playing guitar =).
I have yet to experience connectivity while doing PK, but thanks for sharing this, it made me realize something important. Connection is important.

Re: PK Psychology

I agree with this. However - eliminating the belief projection is very hard. I don't really know how to do it other than persistent practice and affirmation that it can be done.

Re: PK Psychology

bohmana, just saw your page book page flip video, looks cool! I will work on that tonight to give the psiwheel a break. I feel like the psiwheel has gotten easy to connect to. Though, I should relax a little(training 8-10 hours everyday). I see spinning every time I close my eyes lol:)

Do you mind if I ask how you conceptualize, shrinking the match flame?

Re: PK Psychology

owltwelve: way way too much practice.  Please take breaks! PsionicsOnline is not liable for any injuries you occur while practicing, there is known to be some adverse health effects.

bohmana:  I like the page flip thing.  I never saw that before.  Its a great idea. I might(I will) try it.

DON'T practice 8-10 hours a day, that's nowhere near healthy. I recommend one hour a day tops.

Extinguishing the match was done by applying a stasis field (field of yin or yang (I honestly don't know which, ShirakOmega (youtube guy) says it's yin) that is pressing the flame down and pulling the flame thus hindering its advancement on the match causing it to die out.

Re: PK Psychology

wow, these ShirakOmega vids are great! can't wait to work on these skills; after I get some sleep, lol:)

End  of week one: psi_wheel fork

Spin goes well, till the fork tells me "dude, I'm a Seesaw". You can always see my frustration when my lamp starts flickering, lol. Anyway, in hindsight, I should have went with the up & down motion:)

He's right man, i did the same as you and i still feel like i need longer sessions, but its worth it to take the break, dont quote me but i believe heavy TK practice lowers your potassium/K+, so if you do long training (im thinking hour in one sitting at most before you take a break) then have a snack based on the minerals your using up. i recently found out i have gall stones and before i knew i had them i would throw up constantly couldnt keep anything down solids or liquids, my K+ got so low that i was only throwing up bile, and i was stuck in a circle throwing up losing so much potassium so i couldnt eat and get my K+ up.

Im not preaching at all man im not your dad, and your gonna do whatever you choose either way, plus other people will tell you the same, im just sharing my experience in the hopes to educate people to not make that mistakes, cause its definitely not pleasant.

But owltwelve, based on what you said i get the same pressure like feeling in my brain when im moving something, actually now that i think, even when im trying to move something i have or havent before that happens, i feel the pushing in my head and ive been trying to study every aspect of it, cause i think thats the feeling when im connected/ in progress of manipulating my object. my thoughts for whoevers felt this, or your own"controls" lets call them. Don't JUST look at your successes as what they are, but study your body and its controls and you'll be able to tap into your skills quicker and/or better next time. It sounds weird but to do it i start as normal, try to get some actions out of my object, and if i see my results, i analyze if im getting more or less action than usual, im still working on moving the object, but i like take a step back almost outta my body, and i look at my 5 senses and whats going on with them when it [object] slows down, speeds up, goes opposite direction than im currently thinking. it really helps with me not only for this aspect of my life but it works with all. Take from it what you will, but to me TK is the search to understand your body better, so it kinda makes sense to step back and look at where you are,
