I think he was saying that this is all in our heads. Not the psionics part, but all of it.

My assessment: if this stuff isn't real:

1) I am part of a massive conspiracy where many people have spent hours upon hours talking to me about something unreal, with no real gain other than that I believe them
or
2) I've hallucinated to the point where I have no real grip on reality.

Point 1 doesn't make much sense. Conspiracies are only carried out when there's something to gain. No one explicitly gains anything from our belief, especially if psionics isn't real. There'd just be no point to go through all the effort of convincing people.

Point 2 I don't like to think is really possible, and if it is, there wouldn't be much I could do about it anyways, so I may as well enjoy the ride

'the matrix' also made me go through a phase where i didnt know that this was the real world. you eventually have to say either what cbad and innerfire said, or reason that this is the best evidence i have to go off, so why not?

I think me being able to feel Psi in my own hands is proof enough for me, and i don't feel heat, i feel a substance...anyways...The scientific proof of Psi should be enough to knock people back into reality if they think they are dreaming or in the Matrix or something...

I think bullying objects into moving works a bit lol.

Inner peace is overrated.

Reality and perception. We tend to blend the two together. Nobody sees true reality. Nobody sees total fantasy. Our minds interperet all that is around us. Whether it is right or wrong is usually judged by repeated results from countless of controlled experiment. Which is where science became. We wanted to see how much around us is real and it has lead to controlled experiment to explain many of this around us. However, reality itself, is all shared perception and information. If we acknowledge it to be true, then it could potentially exist as true. Of course, within the laws of science. That is brief of what I think.

Now, perception and science mixes and we get a form of psionics. Messy concepts blended in with ignorance and gaps from all over the community. Whether it's right or wrong, people argue and claim right, no matter how insane it sounds. Many of us share results to see how many people can say, "Hey, me too!" as it'll remove doubt of the probability of psionics being fake.

Complex world we live in.
