Hi. I just started yesterday and realized that what I was feeling between my hands when I was a kid was actually psi.

But I also learnt yesterday that our energy is not limitless and that caution must be taken to use it, otherwise injury will result.

I noticed this as I was trying out the methods to move a very tiny psi pinwheel abt 0.3x0.3 inch. I had strong motivation, but also knew that I probably won't be able to move it and won't be disappointed.

By the time I finished trying for 1 hr, I could feel some kind of headache which I don't usually feel. This led me to think of some questions:
1)If our energy is not limitless, it was mentioned that eating restores some of it. But does sleeping also do so?
What would be the best ways for recharging?

2)Starting out as a beginner, we are able to sustain a small amount of energy for a short period of time. With more practice, does our sustaining capacity improve?

3)Going over the limit would cause injury. What kinds of injury are possible?

4)Does just building a psi ball without using it drain some of your reserves?

I hope thats not too many silly questions to answer in one go. I just want to clear some doubts to know what precautions to take.

I would prefer if the more advanced users would come out and correct me if I'm wrong Smiling.

Ok so there are two primary belief systems...
1) Psi is everywhere you have no physically limit
2) Psi is waste from the nervous system that can be replenished by various means. Psi use itself is a muscle that needs to be worked to get stronger.

I personally believe in the second theory so that is the one I will explain to you (Take it with a grain of salt). I will answer all your questions in order.

1) In my belief your personal psi is limited, but there is ambient psi given off by living things all around you.
-I personally do physical excersize, Sleep, meditate, eat, drink orange juice, or eat/drink any food that has potassium or Iron.

2)This all depends on your belief system. But based on the one I'm explaining doing psi is like working a muscle, eventually your strength and endurance increase. So to answer your question; yes.

3) Most are not from actual psi use, but from over focus, or mental strain for long periods of time.
-But none the less you could get...
-Headache, hunger, drowsiness, fatigue, Sleep deparvation, Iron or other mineral defecincy, sickness, weakended immune system, general pain.
(As a note I speak from experience this is all the results from my psi over use or being attacked.)

4)Yes, when you make the ball you draw psi from yourself and therefore remove some of your energy, but after the initial creation if its not programmed to do anything, and you release your focus on it, no energy is depeleated save the energy used to create it.

Finally my personal advice
1) Schedule your sessions
2) Stop at first sign of discomfort.
3) If your exhasted...stop
4) Don't focus too hard this might cause headaches and is unnecessary.
5) When doing the psi wheel don't doubt yourself, KNOW you can, actually, don't even think your doing it, just think that it's the way the object works its SUPPOSED to move. It helps to passively focus on the object don't shout in your mind "move!" and actually visualize, just expect it to move.

Ok thats all the tips for now I hope this answered your questions. I too was a beginner only a couple weeks ago, but I've come a long way in a short time and know that this info is hard to find. And don't worry about post size you asked a long Question I gave a long answer lol. Welcome to psionics online feel free to contact me.

1: Energy is everywhere. However, energy is transferred and shared. When you pull energy into a spot, it disrupts that specific area in order to be at that point. More energy is needed for more information to produce. Forget anything about your imagery. It's only association to intent. Whether or not we actually pull energy from an object is still up for debate. I am believing that constructs we create and place will transfer energy at that point specifically in order to remain and function. Thus, you. It is disrupting your energy system which leads to the headaches and feeling drained. Just relax and take a break. Nothing major.

At the same time, you could have also expanded your field a bit too causing some minor overloads. Centering helps with this.

Usually the combination of Grounding and Centering is recommended for these cases just to help one relax while taking out any potential problems.

More you practice, the more you can endure and the better speed of your pulling. I am not sure if we truly have some capacity as if we were some jug. After all, I don't feel we can add energy into our bodies or system... just transfer(from eating(physically) or pull energy(metaphysically)) or surrounding your biological and\or energetic system.

However, knowing hypothetical mechanics won't do you much good. Just keep practicing and relax when you feel exhausted . You will adjust and endure more and more.

Never heard of the terms centering or grounding and neither are they commonly mentioned in the articles. As you can tell, I am quite a newbie to this field. It looks like I have lots to learn, practice and strengthen before I can start anywhere.

Yeah, I've not really seen an article for Grounding or centering. All it is is just stabilizing energy around you and yourself(grounding) and focusing on yourself(centering).

Just relax and 'release'.

I'm sorry I haven't been posting much, I've been busy. But I gotta step in here now that Nev's done his spiel, since I represent the other major paradigm on Energy Eye-wink

1) Energy can either be taken from outside sources or metabolized from your bodily resources. I've noticed that it's both a mixture of sleep, emotional state, and diet that effects how you're doing.

2) Gigantic yes! The more practice you do, the more your capacity improves, and it's why I'm always prompting my students (when I'm running classes, sorry that you just missed the last one, it's over now Sad )

3) Typically if you over strain yourself, you'll get all sorts of headaches and you'll probably feel pretty drained for a couple days after (depending on how much you overdid it). It can take a while to recover. I'm not sure on the effects of really really overdoing it since usually the headaches and fatigue is enough of a blunt hint to get people to stop Sticking out tongue

4) Yes, you've put that energy out there, and when you're done with the psiball the energy just kinda floats away. You might be able to pull it back, but I wouldn't recommend it. There's some issues with reabsorbing energy.

To not start a fight, take it or leave it which of us you want to believe. Neveza and I are always holding opposing views on Energy since we were taught very differently from each other. I'm not sure which of us is right (it's probably a little of both), and I'm not sure there's any definitive way to prove either view at the moment beyond a lot of circumstantial evidence. For now I just like to make sure the opposing view point is presented for people to consider Smiling

That would be your problem.

Concentrating too hard is a possibility. But just in case, try 2 half-hour sessions instead?

Probably dont want to know.

Also, welcome to the community. Smiling
