Hey all, Lets start with where im at, i practised and am still very fond of the good ol\' psi wheel, gotta love the basics, i was going on and off for awhile, always mastering the wheel but hittin that next plateau, different story always ended the same. i come today finding out last week i have a HUGE 1.5cm (well, im told thats bigger than average) gall stone, gotta get surgery and anyone who\'s had episodes when the gall stones stuck its not pleasant, so im making some life changes.
Before i had any idea of this ive still begun practising again, everyday unless i feel i need a day rest, becoming once again strong at spinning and trying to gain more control, suffice to say i dont have as much of each for the wheel. ive been experimenting with straws more recently, even though im told they\'re static and roll from my finger, the only results i clearly see is when my hands arent close.
trying to just roll it left or right hasnt been working well to even have a small victory, which to me is a twitch, so i started balancing it off my desk and rotating it.
i try to have less and less of it [the straw] past the edge and once or twice i got it to slide counter clockwise, leaving the part on the desk closer to the edge and vice versa. i believe my brain thinks sliding at this stage of training is easier than rolling, and i\'ll be damned if every human never stays satisfied, i just wanna be talkin more than spinning, but this is an art i think, i need to master rolling just as ,much as the basics. (dont worry this has a point), this post is for everyone because we in a way of speaking ARE the experts, the ones doing the tests and searching for knowledge, exploring every possibility rather than accepting what we\'re told our body can do, and since my goal one day is to train enough to levitate myself, i gotta learn from everyone i can and hear everyones opinion even if i think i know everything
so im asking for people who know how to roll how they started/are starting, with what, what technique, as well as sliding as that is my path for now, and even people who can barely shake the psi wheels opinion if they have tried or not, as llong as the answers in reason why count it out? a website bringing peoples thoughts and lifestyles together for a common goal, thats a community so help each other out and share like one! sorry for a huge post first one and im in love with this and its cool reading everyones opinions on training, i\'ll leave it with the beatles, cause all ya need is love!
