Check out these links.. let's not go too long without sleep. Not only does it mess with our ability to focus (OR our perception thereof), it produces symptoms exactly like you've described.. not to mention new info indicates iit can kill you.

You hit the nail on the head..

The key word here is SEEMS. With lack of sleep (not a different sleep CYCLE, such as reversing day/night patterns) you will perceive things differently than they actually may be occurring. I'm NOT saying things actually sped up or slowed down for you. I'm saying that you THOUGHT they did.. it's kind of like a drunk driver who thinks they are driving perfectly, not hitting anything.. but in reality they are driving at 15 mph in the middle of 2 lanes. Your perception is not always the same as reality, expecially when you are taking something such as sleep away from your brain. It's not unlike saying you can throw a fireball from your hands.. only while you're on acid.

Time shift [not the game :) ]

What you all are experienceing is a time shift. It is minor but powerful bend in the space/time continueum (The un-altered continuation of space and of time). I have manipulated this myself. i havenot mastered this but it takes a LOTof consentration. I travel from one city (Payson) to another (Orem) alot going to work. when i left (8:40 am) and when i got their (9:06 am) going the speed limit (65 mph) i got their about 6 min late.  one thing to know about me is that i am a stickler for the speed limit because i have had way to many speeding tickets and having one more means i no longer have a lisence until next year ish. I had slept in a little and was a bit late getting started. I left for work right at 8:45 am worried i was late i focused REALLY hard on getting there and i was focusing also on my speed so i didnt get pulled over cause that would make me late for sure. I stayed at 67 mph only fluctuating 2 mph under or ver that so i wouldnt get pulled over. I pulled into the parking lot and ran inside and it was still closed. I made it early it took me 12 min to get there. Going the speed limit or close to it. I than began to work on how it worked and was able to get it down to a good pattern. It IS an ability and CAN be strengthened. That is at least my opinion of over 18 years awareness, practice and knowledge in the field of psionics. :) Ya know what i am sorry for gloating. I shouldnt its rude. forgive? oh and i just found out the name of this ability it is called Chronoportation (Teleporting through time not space). interesting huh. i believe that is the name. I am not the formost authroity on the subject dont take it for me saying thats law. just some insight i picked up. thanx for listening.

I can understand and from your view point agree but...

I was actually talking about Time Shift. Altering the time Directly around you so that there is a "buble" of sorts of time around you. It is difficult to explain but i did experience it multiple times and followed it with a number of experiments to solidify that i was using an ability and not experiencing a random phenomina. no energy drink or lack of energy the entire time. i am low on time so i will leave it there.

You are talking about sleep derivation and i said i had no lack of energy/sleep and or cafine shortage or cafine high.
