I have a question. Basically, whenever I am interacting with my environmenti.e. just walking along absent mindedly glancing at stuff, In my mind what I see also registers with a tactile sensation, i.e. without touching something I know what it feels like. I've done this, I think, for as long as I can remember. Would this be some sort of innate sensitivity?

What are people's opinions?

Re: Innate sensitivity?

I do not think that this is psychically mediated information. From what you have said, it seems like you pay very close attention to tactile sensations, and it makes sense, that if you pay a lot of attention to tactile sensations, your mind can predict what they feel like.

However, because of the way psi mediated information impinges on the mind, your mind would use tactile sensations to interpret said information. For example, you would sense that my desk feels smooth via a tactile sensation.

If you are interested, I recommend you look into the first sight model of psi.
