I've been [purposefully] away from the OEC for a while now. So I decided to come pay the various communities a visit today. Simply put, I'm surprised, and glad about the changes going on here in PsionicsOnline (more especially the partnership with Practical Psi). This is a very very nice step forward. Keep up the good work.

Thanks, I appreciate it.
We are also focusing on an effort(mostly me and Seph, honestly) to get all information that seems important down on the website in a coherent fashion that is relevant to learning. That is, I am currently working on a getting started guide, so newbies know how they should start, what they should worry about, some ways they can enhance their practice that usually seems like common knowledge to us, but probably isnt to them. Im kind of looking for experienced people willing to write "specialized" guides, or to hold practice sessions. I believe we are the only solely active psi-focused community still left in the OEC, and I kind of want to pick up the slack and start doing some things. Im adding a member research section with the hopes that we can further our knowledge in every field to provide more efficient methods or ways towards the same goals(applicability of psionics, primarily), even if the evidence is merely anecdotal in nature.
Its nice seeing your username again. I hope you stick around.

No problem, and yea, I noticed that guide. Good job on the much you've done so far. In short, all you've done, are doing, or have in mind to do, is a welcomed development; not only in PsionicsOnline, but in the entire OEC.

Thanks. Before yesterday, I was actually contemplating on whether or not to take a permanent leave of the OEC. After seeing what I've seen here though, I think I really would like to stick around.
That would be fantastic. The chat is still active. The mailer still works as well, so if you are interested in holding some practice sessions, just let me know and I will send out some emails.

I have to agree with XPW3, I was pleasantly surprised by most of what I found after looking at the site (when prompted by the most recent mailing). The forums aren't quite as good as I had hoped, but it would be irresponsible to complain without attempting to make some sort of dent. So I'll try to keep up with the Construct section of the forum, and to moderate it as appropriate. I appreciate all the work that has gone into this site in the last 6 months and want to help.
We lost the majority(4/5) of our forum posts as a result of shoddy hosting services- our server had a harddrive failure which caused us to lose a lot of the data(i am glad i got all of the articles off before hand.....). Im lucky i saved what i did. It took about 25 hours of messing around in phpmyadmin to save the user table.
I realize the forums could be more active. I am working on search engine optimization(SEO) to help bring up the traffic here, but its a slow process because im the only one doing the work and I do have school(and a job). Right now we are only bringing in people that google psionics- which while that used to be a lot of people due to psipog, etc, is no longer a viable keyword for this web site.
Also, this forum(like everything else on this site) is in a beta state. Expect me to have it integrated with the layout of the mainsite(with all of the features still intact, not like before), and have the registrations from the site and the forums linked together within the next few days.
New site's look and suddenly everyone have a strange urge to type 'psionicsonline.net' into their browser - OK, confess to a crime - which one of you have broadcast this telepathic stuff? ;)

Alright. Cool. I won't be able to hold any practice sessions anytime soon, since my schedule isn't set in stone, but whenever I know I can do it and if I'm also in the mood for it, I'll let you know.
I will add you to the mailer-list so you can send emails about events(and to the calendar event-adder). Just use it responsibly. Also, the emails arent instant.
Hello, nice to meet you
