Hi,
I'm actually origionally a member from PSIPOG before it was archived, then moved to shiftedperspectives (but they seem unnaturally dead) and now joining this forum for guidence and advice.
Lil about be, I'm a psion of many years, since about 13 or 14. My main focus is energy manipulation and psychokinesis. Some lesser dabbeled skills are empathy, telepathy, and pyro-kinesis (unsure if you use that term for creating fire). However my problem, and a great one, is that i can't feel energy. I am actually very numb to energy, although I can occansionaly use it. I am looking to "feel" so to say, because I'm sure I have potential, but I can't feel it.

Hello LegendaryAngel,
First off, welcome aboard! ;D Its always nice to have fellow people who are still dedicated to practice. Ever since PsiPog died the psionic communities have pretty much faded into nothing.
I want to bring up a couple points about what you said.
"A big problem of mine is that I cannot feel energy. I'm numb to it, I'm looking to "feel" it"
Psionic energy doesnt have a feeling unless you program a feeling into it. That could be your problem. In my opinion, trying to "feel" for the energy is not an effective sensing technique, anyways. It works for beginners, but IMO you would be better off learning to scan for energy, as it is much more effective.
Now, back to your problem. Most people do not intentionally program feeling into thier constructs. Most people automatically have some sort of feeling in them, just because when they make constructs thier subconscious accociates certain feelings to how a construct "should" feel, thus it makes programs the construct feel that way.
For example, my constructs are all automatically hot. If you walk through one, it feels like walking through a pocket of hot air.
Constructs are not normally this way, though. You are most likely not programming any feeling into yours.
You can program them to have any feeling, too.
I remember I used to be really into making constructs with all different feelings..My favorite thing was making really hot ones, and really cold ones. Other people could feel them too, I remember having my friend put his hand between my hands, and without even telling him what was there he'd tell me "wow, its really chilly!"
Anyways, onto how I'd do it.
For this example, we'll walk through how to make a cold construct. First, think of things (objects) that you think of as being really cold. Not things that other people think of as cold, but things YOU think of as cold..When i think of cold, I dont think of ice cubes..I think of snow, a cold door knob outside in winter, cold water running, etc. So as your gathering up your energy (however you do this) think of all these cold things, and have the intent that your energy will be that.
I would usually gather the energy in my sternum while doing this. Next, move the energy to wherever it is you want the construct to be. And viola, you have a really freaking cold construct. Like I said, without even telling people what it was they could easily tell how extremely cold it was.
Give it a try, and good luck.

Ah delicious, a fellow former 'pogger.
I find that psychokinesis is a great way to learn how to manipulate energy. Some think that making psiballs and constructs actually isn't a good way to begin. I share the same philosophy. The only problem many people run into with PK is it's difficult to devote consistent practice, especially because most of your practice sessions have no result. Actually, I find this to be true for me because I don't like spending forever trying to get control of an object. I just wait til I get a few small movements and move on to the next big thing. :P
My sole focus now PK only. Although I will occassionally dabble in other things, but don't ever practice them regularly like I do for PK.
Welcome sir and goodluck!
Thank you Tricky for the exercise and advice, I will be practicing what you've mentioned, and hopefully I'll get some experience.
I too find the consistant patience to be the biggest drawback, but when I think about it, the rewards are even greater. Ha, I sounded all smart.
