Ok, I hear this buzzing sound from anything electronic, but the one that really bugs me is the TV. I went asking from friends around and some will say yes I have heard that before or no never heard of it. So, why is it that some people can hear it and others can\'t? Seriously, I really hate it when a TV is on w/the volume on mute. Its so loud, annoying, and BUZZING D:.

hmm i can hear tv\'s hum easily, as well as the humming of florescents and thier flicker too.

there may be alot of people that can hear those, but i can hear my own electrical hum/buzz. i think it is either my brain signal or my CNS. if i concentrate on it, i can make it spike and raise the sound of it. I can also hear cd players turned down to no volume, through the head phones..
:jawdrop:

Yeah, a lot of people don\'t think about it much to notice it, but it does get irritating if you pay it attention. I\'m not sure what it is but it\'s not like it\'s out of the range of what most people can hear. Some TVs/electronics are worse than others, too.

I too can hear my own buzz thingy.
But I know what you mean, it\'s so irritating!

some sounds are at frequencies that some people can\'t hear. this reminds me of the \'mosquito frequency\', apparently u can only hear it if you are under 25

I know some older people that can hear it, though. But not all of them.
