Battlefield series, World of Warcraft, Counter-Strike etc. Have you ever thought of using Psi in those or similar games?

I TRY to keep my post short, hoping to spark your interest in these areas.

- Do you consider using Psi on such games as cheating? (OMG W4llH4X!!11!)

- Have you ever used remote viewing, micro-TK, telepathy etc. succesfully in games?

- on what extend would you think it to be possible to use micro-TK in online First Person Shooter games? (currently I would guess it\'d be possible to used it on things like \"rapid fire deviation\" [i think it\'s usually an escalating random number generator that counts where the bullet flies], how about obtaining information about enemy location?)

I personally think it\'s not considered cheating, since orthodox science stubbornly claims it to be just wishfull thinking, and ESP is not always 100% accurate.

PostScript: I\'m going to run a few tests with Battlefield 2, when i get back home.

after a few short tests in Battlefield 2, Battlefield 2142 and Max Payne, i noticed something interesting.

I used micro-TK to improve weapon accuracy (shotguns, SMG bursts etc.) and noticed that whenever i tried to force it to be more accurate, it was about 30-40% less accurate than normal. Not so surprisingly, while trying to make them inaccurate, they were 30-40% MORE accurate than normal. I think this relates to the thing similar to Psi-wheel rotation that goes to the opposite direction when trying to rotate it in a certain way.

The reason why TK works in most games is that the games usually use a sort of random number generator to calculate where... let\'s say... a shotgun pellet spread hits.

I think this area deserves more study.

Cheers!

I don\'t actually play video games so I wouldn\'t know but, it does sound like something to look into. I don\'t know if I would call it cheating but, it\'s not something most others can do. So, I suppose it\'s up to you.

If you are thinking too heavily about the thing you want to do with psionics it can hamper your ability to do. if you let your subconcious do the work and focus on keeping your mind off of what you are actually trying to do than it most of the time works better. or at least so i have seen in my practices.

This thread is a huge joke.  You are just feeding a troll.

I do not believe that this thread was written by a troll.  What you guys must understand about micro-pk and videogames is, the way that computers calculate randomness isnt random.  The best way to create a proper random number generator, that mimics situations at casinos/real life, etc, is rigging up a geiger counter with some basic circuits. There is an article about how to create a proper random number generator, including circuit diagrams, in an article in the Journal of Parapsychology, by Helmut Schmidt.  Its probably available on the internet by now, I think it was written in the 1980s- I know about it because I have a paper copy of it.  Alternatively, you could find a random number generator on the internet that mirrors data from a geiger counter-  I saw something like that on the internet, so it wouldnt hurt for you to check it out.

I don\'t think it\'s a psi thing, but it works fine. Yes, it\'s cheating.

I know this topic is old, but I had to say something:

This works. I\'ve used it countless times. Basicially what I do is use psionics to get a basic idea of enemy location, tell whether or not im gonna get ambushed or sniped, etc. This information comes to me in the form of impulses. I also use psionics to speed up load times and bolster my internet connection (although, I dont recommend the latter WHILE playing, as it\'s hard to concentrate on two things at once, and it gives you one hell of a headache. ). I used to suck at videogames, but ever since I learned about this topic I\'ve improved my playing skills exponentially. Now it\'s mostly instinct for me, but I know it works. One thing I will add, though, if anyone else wishes to try this, i\'ve found that it\'s best (for me, results may vary for others) not to focus too hard and just let the impulses flow naturally

Agree.

Used micro-pk to lessen the probability of harmful random encounters in Fallout 2.

In FPS games, I started moving the mouse randomly and clicking randomly. The result was that I was banned from most servers for using an aimbot  . Well, too many headshots..
