Common Choices for Relaying Intention
I am going to briefly discuss the most prevalent choices for these exercises so that you understand where various authors are coming from when you read their articles and courses. Absolutely do not modify your choices made during exercise #1 and exercise #2 after reading about the common choices. If you didn’t make any of these choices, that is definitely fine.
Common choices for conveying intention :
1. The use of the concept of “energy”
2. The idea of a “link” in order to convey a connection between yourself and the event/object.
3. An idea of transferring “energy” from yourself to the object which means the thing you wish to convey.
Analysis of Existing Psionic Symbol System
Energy
Traditionally, psionics has used a concrete, static symbol system based on the concept of using thought to relay intent. Psi was traditionally represented as a form of actual “energy”. Within the context of traditional psionics, people used certain thoughts and states of mind to “program” “energy” to do things on behalf of the operator(yourself).
We could have just as easily chose a different system; that is, something else could have been used to relay intent. You created this system yourself in exercise #1 and exercise #2.
Connection Using Links
In traditional Psionics, it is common to visualize and/or create a link using “energy”, whose purpose is to symbolize the fact that two different objects or individuals are connected. This is particularly popular in telepathic and telekinetic-type applications.
However, the psionic practitioner could have just as easily chosen to visualize and will that he/she is one with the object or person, rather than actually trying to form a “concrete” connection.
The point here is that you could have chosen anything for your technique that means “I can communicate with this object/person effectively” ,and with practice and daily meditation(as mentioned in exercise #3), it’d work just fine.
Transference of Intention
People tend to choose a few different things to represent “transference of intention” in the world of Psionics. The common ones are as follows(in no particular order):
1. Programming the “energy” to mean something you want to happen. A common example for beginners is creating a “hot” psiball, or programming “energy” with the idea of “movement” when you are practicing telekinesis.
2. Simply visualizing (sometimes using multiple senses) that the object or situation is doing what you want, with the will that it will work.
3. Attempting to move an object like a limb(popular in telekinesis applications).
Again, the point here is that you could have chosen anything that means “transference of intention”, and as long as you meditate on the significance of it meaning “transference of intention”, it’d probably work just the same.
