It shouldn't make much of a difference with the exception of seeing it spin in the opposite direction (in relation to your intent).
I haven't pk-ed on the reflection yet, but pk on the shadow works just the way it would on the object itself. Remote pk through a live feed or remote pk without any visual of the object at all - these also seem to work about the same as directly in front of the object. Also, time doesn't seem to be an issue - pk seems to work well on an object which has already been recorded beforehand.
In my opinion, doing it on the reflection shouldn't be too much different.
I've done suggestive telepathy through a mirror countless times. It makes no difference unless you think it does. Your predisposition towards an action makes all the difference.
I have thought about trying this but have not done so yet. Some people claim to move psi wheels through webcam so I am sure looking at it in mirror is possible but I think it will take some time to get the hang of it for me. I practiced spinning the psi wheel while I was laying on my side yesterday hoping the change in perspective would help me with rolling thing forward as the psi wheel is vertical when you are laying down. I still can not roll things but it proved to be a fun challenge.
