Hey guys, I'm basically wondering why there aren't any videos of people using tk on the more "impressive" scales,

I used to practice a few years ago and having come back I thought people would have progressed on to larger objects. Starting on pin wheels is fair enough and I can understand how difficult Float's highlighter example is, but I thought we would have some decent videos of bigger objects by now. So... is there a limit to what can be achieved in tk? (I know people used to boast that they could move larger things, one story I remember was someone who said they moved furniture when they were ill)

I understand you aren't in this for a performance, but providing good evidence of what can be achieved is important.

I would appreciate it if someone could put my new skepticism to rest, please.
Probably because we aren't good enough yet to do it on command.. maybe on an impulse, like when you get angry or upset, but not on command..

I remember a video somewhere where someone moved their cell phone, it could've been on this site.. not sure.

my 2 cents.

Re: tk

Some have claimed to have been able to open / close doors on command, but I haven't seen much videos around.  ::)

Here are a few videos from my favourites:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?... (glass sphere)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?... (a door)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?... (a bowl)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?... (another cup)

Some of them might be fakes. I'm not very fond of performing skeptical analysis on these videos, so I can't say if these are legit or not.

Re: tk

I think this qualifies as impressive:

I cant tell if this is PK or PyroK, either way it's pretty sweet

Re: tk

The people from back then who are still in it have probably achieved some pretty impressive things. But most people just dont stick with it long enough to really figure things out, so most of the people who you were around before are now gone, and new people are here. So it seems like no progress has been made, even though it has.

Re: tk
