For a while now I've been broadcasting my thoughts aloud. However it is becoming a problem to where I'm uncomfortable being around people for the reason that I sometimes can't control what thoughts are being sent I don't want people to get the wrong impression of me. My telepathic abilities sometimes amaze me but far more scare me. I wish I didn't have them for I don't feel normal. I was looking online for help on how to stop my ability that's where I ran into this site. If anybody has any suggestions on how I can control my telepathy or get rid of it I would appreciate it. I'm just feeling lost and confused thanks


Telepathy can be quite useful, so i wouldn't dismiss it right away. I would try doing some mental exercises to help control your thoughts. I've dabbled in telepathy, so It's good to be able to turn off errant floating thoughts. If something is coming into your head that you don't want, just dismiss it. I dismiss thoughts by popping them, but do what works for you. Void meditation will also help you, being that it's another self control exercise.
Also, if your comfortable with the idea, You can practice telepathy with a friend. Becoming better at telepathy will allow you to control when your sending and receiving thoughts. One should never be afraid of there own abilities, but instead learn to gain admiralty over them.
I suggest a shield as a quick way to prevent outgoing thoughts.

The thing with shields is that they can fail if not maintained. A quick fix is not likely to be very beneficial in this situation, especially for a novice.
