Alright, so today I'm going to discuss something that hasn't been seen on a psionics forum for years. Frankly i believe it deserves a spot on the general list of skills, but what can you do…
The subject I would like to discus is temporal horizon collapse (in layman's terms, stopping perceived time). Now the science behind this is somewhat controversial, but it basically requires you to acknowledge the concept that time is simply a stream of events experienced by an event handler (you), and that these events while experienced by one handler, may not be what others experience.
Here is the model:
Handler A and Handler B are experiencing a square room with gray walls. In this room one of 3 possible events can occur: Events A, B , and C respectively. Each event will occur for a period of 1 second in alphabetical order.
So with this model, the handlers know they will experience these events. Thus by association, the events are made available as a justification to probable cause on the event horizon. The event horizon is infinite, and can generate all available events within the margins of the handlers capacity. The most probable event following the gray room in this model is event A. However that doesn't mean event A will occur without a doubt, it is simply justified to occur. With that said, an event handler can choose an event from the horizon with out of intent, and the handler will experience the event of choosing.
Now assuming Handler A can collapse the justified event horizon. Handler A would be able to experience an event longer than normal, or not at all. For with a full horizon collapse no other events become available to replace the current one. Thus creating the appearance of stopping time. Handler B would experience the events A,B and C in order without any knowledge of these temporal distortions, being that you are only influencing what you are perceiving.
This leads me to believe that individual event handlers are separate somehow, experiencing their own individual event streams. However that is just my hypothesis based off experience.
There are some in existence for those who look. I will provide one here: http://grasshopperx.com/mind-games/how-to-stop-time/
Im not in anyway affiliated with this site, however I claim that the technique described in that article works. With practice this technique can offer very unique benefits.
