ok so i tired again when i woke up to make a psi ball i counted up from 1 to 30 [ getting distracted many times along the way and having to refocus on the counting, breathing and visualising the numbers] once finally at 30 i tried to in vision my stomach area full of energy a vast ocean of energy for my use, sometimes when i do this it feels like there is some pressure there , didn’t feel much of anything today, anways after that i concentrated on sending energy up from there through my shoulders and arms and out of my hands, now this is the annoying part when i concentrated on make a steady flow of energy all i got was the itch/tingle/ heat in my palms but when i concentrated on pulsing the energy up my arms and out i managed to make a pulsing psi ball between my hands, a baby ball maybe as the second i moved my focus i lost the sensation, and when i tried to turn the pulsing in to just a flow whatever was between my hands seems to just, ebb away like a balloon with a whole, not a pop just a steady deflating in to nothingness.
so any idea why i cant make a flow but can a pulse?
does it really matter if i pulse or flow energy ?
also how can i hold the ball? it seems to me im not making a ball just lots of energy without form between my hands and when i stop sending energy in whats there just dissipates.
ty for any help :)

Put more energy than you initially intended into the ball. Make the ball feel like a high pressure basketball. Then it wont disperse so readily. Look up psiball shelling for more containment ideas.
as for pulse vs flow, do whatever is comfortable. Maybe the reason why its better for you to pulse is because your not flowing with enough intensity to feel it properly.
good luck
Sometimes I pulse energy to my music.. and all I listen to is techno, so lots of pulsing occurs. It seems to help me.
I have to back up southtownjr here. Pulsing to something you hear like music, is a good helper.
