that is a really good idea in my opinion. i've been astrally projecting for a while now and i never even put 2 and 2 together. thanx man that might really help lol
First time I went astral I was practicing kamehamehas lol
first time i went into astral i hadn't slept for like 4 days, insomnia was bad then got used to it now but i definitely used to practice the kamahamaha for a long time lol
sometimes i still try lol
but it's a step toward a 'magical consciousness' which is essential to very advanced energy work and event manipulation.
What you are describing more or so seems like an altered state of consciousness, or a normal state of consciousness depending upon the person, in which there is a marked disassociation from one's physical sense Self and the Phenomenology of the person. I would not call it "magical consciousness" or a step towards "magical consciousness" (I regard what a lot of people call "magical consciousness" as psychologically destructive but that is only my opinion). I would put it in the reverse due to those things typically taking advantage of things that cause those states, however, one can experience those states with no sense of psi mediated information, in terms of input or output. I would mark that difference, because a perpetual split between associations of sense of Self does not necessarily have anything to do with psi and can happen as a result of psychological trauma or neurochemical effects.
The problem with verifying the Astral Plane and Astral Projection over an OBE is the epistemology involved. An OBE is just a movement of awareness in such a way that sense of Self is located outside of the body instead of sense of Self being rooted in the body with awareness branching outward. That being the case, it is easier to verify an OBE over say the Astral Plane, because it would be like seeing if there is sensory impingement without the physical senses like ESP. The state of mind you mentioned is useful in working with psi, but I think you should make sure that there is more of a distinction, especially in terms of application of psi.
