Before I get started, I apologize in advance for two things. The first, if what I'm looking for was in an article fully available, and I just missed it. The second, I'm easily distracted, so I might go off topic (slap me if I start talking about bananas).
First and foremost, a short background. I've practiced psy on and off over the past year on different websites, and read a lot of articles. Most of them seemed to indicate that someone who was first starting into psi with no experience or natural affinity should start with psiballs, the basic construct. "Great, I'll start with that." Much reading later, I meditate, clear my mind, and try to make a psiball. I practiced making psiballs a couple of times a week for a month or so when it hit me. I've done all the steps, did what they told me. "So, did it work?" I realized I was working blind, and had no idea whether I was doing anything or not; I had no clue how to sense psi.
After giving up for a while, I just got back into it a day or two ago, and I went a-googling. Came across this site and lo and behold, articles on sensing psi! Two of them! (http://www.psionicsonline.net/article/basics-awareness-and-sensitivity-n... and http://www.psionicsonline.net/article/awareness-and-sensitivity-intrepid) After reading them, I have a solid understanding of the theory why awareness is important, but as Intrepid said, they deal more with theory than how-to. I'm about as clear as step 1: clear your mind, and step 2: start paying attention to the little things that you usually ignore (white noise, the texture of clothing on your back, etc.). I'm lost from there, however. Sorry if I'm a little slow on the uptake. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
