Ok... I was reading a seminar on a website and I was wondering... is there a difference between trance and hypnosis? It sounds like a dumb question, really, but are there any differences at all?

Different in technique, but you get the same results. Trances are sometimes referred to as self hypnosis. Hope that answers your question.
