If you haven\'t been around for more than a year, chances are you have never seen the psionic community at it\'s peak. I didn\'t even get to see it at it\'s peak. I started roughly 3 years ago, and really got into it right at the end of psipog. Right after psipog there were loads of psionic devoted sites, and finding knowledgeable ones were a bit of a challenge. In this long run, only the most devoted sites stayed online. PsionicsOnline, is the very last fully psionic site that is still maintained (with no spiritual background) that I have been able to find.

If anyone has any idea, on how we can get this site roaring with people that are fully dedicated, and aren\'t DBZ or Naruto nuts.. please post here so we can hopefully put some to use and get people interested in the world of psionics again.

Maybe explain more about the context of psionics...

Because if you jump right into telepathy it scares people off, but if you start with \"reiki and eastern philosophy\" they\'ll be all \"damn this is cool.\" It\'s surprising how much people respond to \"oh I\'m into reiki and shit.\"

Quote:Hmm, what\'s the point of rebuilding the psionic community? Sean gave up for a reason, other websites failed for a reason, the truth is - psionic community is restraining psychic development, because people fight for words, they praise their skills and dismiss skills of others, instead of practising.

Sean gave up psipog because it fulfilled its purpose.  Other websites failed because they didnt have dedicated staff or had staff that were conflicting.  I disagree that the psionic community restrains psychic development.  The psychic community of old did this in some ways, but enhanced it in others.  I believe it is entirely possible to create a community of free thinkers who embrace psionics.  I just need staff to help put my ideas in action.

On the subject of \"getting traffic\".  Its less about \"getting traffic\", and more about \"retaining it when it comes\".  If people see an active community, they are more likely to stay and try the stuff.  How do we retain traffic?  By maintaining an active forum, and having staff running classes.  Its a vicious cycle.  We can also retain traffic by frequent(almost every day) updates, having interactive groups.... that sort of thing.  I am in the alpha stages of trying to implement this.

Ideas please....

@wyvernkyubi,

What you want to say is: people focus on chatting on forums, forgets about practise, get no results, think this is all bullshit and leave, correct? ;). Maybe some semi-resarch - experiment specific thing (\"if you want to help experimenting with this, you have to learn that first\"), or collect specific data, something that would engage users both online and offline - hmm, \"go outside and tell is where is the greatest source of psionic energy in your area\"?
