Okay, So first off I would like to say I\'ve only recently come back to the community. I am the same saintbob you have seen in the various videos in the media section. I wanted to start a post that will hopefully help encourage regular PK practice & motivate the practitioner to move on from where they are to where they want to be.

Where I am: Currently I am able to spin the inverted tinfoil. After a prolonged absence, I would say that getting back to where I was in only 3 days time isn\'t to bad.

Where I would like to be:  I would like to be able to roll a can proficiently.

I would like for everyone who likes PK to do something like I have just done above.

Mark where they are, and where they would like to be. And after a while post an update, maybe saying how much longer you think it will take, if you\'ve gotten a twitch, etc.

If your a beginner to PK and haven\'t even twitched a psiwheel, I would recommend reading the following articles :

How to make a psi wheel :

http://www.wikihow.com/Make-a-Psi-Wheel

Apollos Psychokinesis Manual

http://www.psionicsonline.net/psychokinesis/articles/23-psychokinesis-ma...

Where I am: I have yet to obtain visible results, however am familiar with the techniques involved, including the \"intention amplifier\" technique.

Where I would like to be: I would like to be able to move objects under 3lbs by the end of the month. / or at minimal success, have at least obtained a visible unquestionable result.

Nice goal. 3lbs is a significant amount of weight, especially from not getting ANY visual results. But best of luck!

My technique was flawed before, so im hoping that this new one will come through for me. Thanks for the support =)

Something I like to do to really measure my progress is to set up a small digital camera, to record each and every practice, then label the video by date. Then after 1 month you can really see how far you have come. It also helps defeat becoming camera shy, and you could catch something really cool on camera to show the community.

Just an idea to toss around, it\'s obviously not needed. Just recommended for progress measuring.

- SaintBob -

I just wanna say first that I\'m really happy to see some of the \"oldies\" of the community coming back. It\'s really great to see! Welcome saintbob! I myself is somewhat and oldie (3 years), but I\'ve only been active for about 5 months total. ;P

Where I\'m at: Page flip with prepared book/psi wheel fast fluid spin. (1 week into practice after like 1 year break). A video of the page flip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?...

Where I have been: Slided a dice (unfortunately not recorded)

Where I wanna be: Same as you saintbob, I\'d like to be able to roll a can proficiently.

~bohmana

Well, good luck bohmana, Please keep this topic updated on your progress !

Yeah, and you do that too !

How often and how long do you practice? Do you use the psi wheel to warm up in all of your practice sessions?

I will.

My practice is every weekday for just over an hour.

Yes I do sometimes start with the psi-wheel. We all have \"those\" days. You know.. the days that nothing seems to want to move. So I do start of with the psi-wheel, then within 5-10 minutes, I switch to my tinfoil. Then I attempt to move the can. After a few minutes of attempt on the can, I switch back to the tinfoil, then back to can, continuously until I get tired out.

How about you ?

Yeah I think that\'s a good idea. I use the tinfoil psi wheel as a meditation/warmup to get \"zooned in\" or \"absorbed with tk\", or however you want to express it. When I feel a heavy tingly pressure in my forehead and just feel very immersed with what I\'m doing, I usually see better results also.

I haven\'t tried switching in between objects back and forth like that though, I\'ll try that, it makes a lot of sense; going back to boost your confidence a bit!

I haven\'t been able to move the tinfoil yet. Some twitches at most. This will be my next step. The page flip isn\'t that hard really if the book is a bit prepped, you don\'t need much pk-force at all to pull the pages. You could try it!

What do you mean by \" prepping \" ?

I mean preparing; tilting the book slightly so that the pages move with lesser force. Sometimes the pages move on their own, and sometimes it\'s clear that I\'ve triggered it IMO

/ boh

I got an inverted psiwheel to twitch the other day, it took all my mental capacity. haha.

I need to practice more though, I\'ve been preoccupied with increasing the energy capacity of my system. I find i hunger less as a result of this.

Good job!

Update: I have started a youtube channel that will be logging some of my practices. I can\'t say that there will be 1000 amazing PK videos. However, if you want to check them out here is the link.

http://www.youtube.com/user/c...

Instead of making a can roll, My new goal is to get my cough drop wrapper to actually levitate. I haven\'t had any success yet, however I find motivation for that easier than rolling a can. When I upload videos on my channel called \" Levitation attempt ,\" I would like to point out it may not actually be levitating. It\'s just an attempt. When it actually happens, I\'m sure everyone and their mother will know =P

Saintbob, awesome! I subscribed to your channel. How do you really determine what\'s harder in PK? Is it the amount of force (Newton) required that matters, or the mental picture of what is hard and what is not?

Saintbob, would you be willing to contribute some of your favourite practice sessions to PsionicsOnline\'s media section?

I determine whats harder, only on what feels what would be harder. If i realy believe that something will be easier than it will be easier for me =P Nothing scientific about it.

And Metalforever I have been meaning to talk to you for that reason. If you ever find any videos you want for the site, you have my permission to take them as long as you notify that you have done so.

Told you that I would be coming back. =]

I can go more in depth into that on another topic. In short it has to do with spinning your primary chakras very very fast. It Stimulates a very strong bio electric response.

Anyway, nice start to a channel, i look forward so seeing new vids

Sorry for off topic, but what do bioelectric responses have to do with psi? I\'m not very well educated on the science behind psi.

On topic: I practiced for 1 hour today and I got the foil psi wheel knocked off several times and got the paper psi wheel spinning nicely a few times. I also got a twitches on the inverted psi wheel, which I have never been able to move. Spinning it will be my next goal. It looks so easy in your videos saintbob ;p. The werid thing is I can really feel the connection to it but I can\'t spin it ;p

I watched your latest video saintbob. Do you also find it much easier to spin objects anti-clockwise than clock-wise? ;p Does it have anything to do with being right-handed perhaps?

Bohmana, If you feel the connection, then you are very close ! Nice job!

Honestly I do find it easier to spin anti-clockwise. That\'s just the way it goes naturally. It might have something to do with my dominant hand.

You should start recording your practices too! I would be interested in seeing your progress via video.

Wow you were right saintbob, I was very close, because today I could spin it very well for the first time!

Sure, I\'ll do that! Here\'s the video I made from today\'s session:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?...

Very nice! Keep up the good work bud!

My next practice will be igniting a match, like this dude does in the end of the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?...

I don\'t know if it\'s too big of a step, I don\'t think so.

First attempt failed.

Though I did spin an 8 inch foil 1/3 turn. However, I seem to have no control of it. It just happens very randomly when it feels like moving ;p. Also like 70% of the time it doesn\'t spin at all just bobs up and down ;p. I want to be able to control it more but I suppose it will come with practice.

It will come with practice. I\'m very glad someone else is actively doing psychokinesis on this community and posting about it keeping us updated. Bohmana, do you have an MSN, you could shoot me in a Private message so we can maybe practice together via webcam or something ? If your uncomfortable giving it out, that\'s cool too. But yeah, back on topic. The control will come with time. Are you doing the \" Just do it \" method, or something else?

Man, you guys are pretty good at telekinesis, I used to do it, like a year back, I tried going from the psiwheel to a soda can, I had pretty good control of the psiwheel and got the can to rock back and forth a little, but know I cant do anything.  I just started practicing again today, and your guys\'s practice videos have really motivated me.  Thanks

No problem, You should keep coming back to update us on your practices. =]

Maybe make a video log yourself to share with the community.

I started last year and could move a thing, so I quit to focus on 3rd eye meditation. Two days ago I was bale to move the Psiwheel with my hands near, both directions but counter clockwise is easier. I last night and today I\'ve been mainly moving the psiwheel from a distance(no hands).

Where I\'d like to be: Move wheel under glass; I feel like I have a mental block. If I can overcome that, it\'s on to bigger stuff:)

Check your inbox, saintbob.

I use the just do it method accompanied with chi projection. Today I got the tinfoil to spin a whole turn for the first time, and it was mainly thanks to the \"just do it\" method. The drawback of this method is that it seems harder to control. It just happens, like random bursts of PK ;p.

What do you use?

I have had that happen too owltwelve. When I practice things other than my subject matter flinch or blink. This is called geisting. I also sometimes geist when I\'m taking tests at school.

I\'ve recently uploaded more videos to my youtube account too.

Here is the latest : http://www.youtube.com/watch?...

Nice vid phantom! I\'ve been working with heavier objects lately; a larger cardboard psiwheel, which I can now spin as fast as the smaller one. As, well as a large glass ball, which hasn\'t budged, but when I move from that back to the psiwheels, they spin really fast.

After re-watching Saintbob\'s advancing past the psiwheel vid; I realize that I\'m not conceptualizing the other objects as clearly as the psiwheel. Though, a breakthrough I made last night was spinning two psiwheels at once(easier to do without hands), and spinning from 10 feet away. I got the two wheels idea from a green lantern comic book. Also, this might sound weird but it helped me get connected to listen to trance music & visualize the psiwheels dancing with me(worked really well!).

Spinning two things at the same time is really interesting and it works wonders. I like having one psi wheel set up and one tin foil next to it. Then shift your focus between the object. Usually you\'ll find that the object you aren\'t actually focusing on will move the most, which is pretty interesting. It\'s like the conscious mind has stepped out of the way for the subconscious to do its thing.

I can related to the \"dead energy\" or \"indecisive energy\" where you just feel the connection but it\'s sort of impossible for the wheel to get anywhere since it\'s intuitively stuck sort of. There will be intuitive resistance if the object moves a bit in one direction - immediately pulling it back. Usually this results in intense wobbling and bobbing of the psi wheel. I haven\'t really figured out how to solve this. Perhaps take a break? Deepen your concentration? Nudge the object to break the inertia?

Lol the movements in the end is caused by me moving to my bed thus creating air currents. The rest is just the object being still showing there is no draft in the room xD

I was wondering, how do you make the tinfoil?  I can\'t seem to find a guide on it.  Thanks.

Make the psi wheel as you normally would, then flip it over and push your pinky into the middle where the fold lines are. Don\'t push it too flat, you want as little surface area touching the table as possible. It should stay up with no sides touching the table, just the middle section you pushed down. Simple enough, i prefer the inverted psi wheel /vs the common design.

Ok.  Thanks!

Lately I\'ve been trying to record more of my practices then just a few minutes of it, which leads to the 10:00 minute upload limit problem with youtube. I have a site currently under construction called \" www.Joshbosley.com \" it\'s nothing to do with psionics or psychic anything.. it\'s going to promote my computer repair business (which works under L and B Builders )

I will be uploading the videos to my site, and link them for download in case you really want to watch them.

However: I will still be uploading smaller shorter videos about PK and other psionic sub sections, like EM, ESP etc, etc.

Really? Hmm... I\'ve never had any trouble with stuff over 10 minutes, as long as it\'s under 20 minutes which is the limit.

Fork bend from PK party on the IRC:

http://mr... ... .jpg?w=720

It\'s not the best. But oh well.

I first started doing Psychokinesis a couple of years ago. I had practically masted the psi-wheel, as I could spin it almost effortlessy and from across the room, but I couldn\'t control the direction in which it spun. I then attempted to roll a can, something that I succeeded in once. But when I had trouble repeating that feat, I stopped altogether.

Now I\'m getting back into PK, and I\'m currently trying to master the psi-wheel again. I can spin it pretty reliably, but I\'m having trouble controlling it\'s movement. Therefore I\'m now trying to determine the direction in which it spins. I seem to get less reliable spinning motion, but I am succesfully influencing wether it spins left or right.

My goals for the near future are to improve my capacity, with which I mean that I want to improve how much I can do in a day, as I can currently only practice for 15 to 30 minutes every day with actual results. I also want to have the same, and then greater control of the psi-wheel that I used to have, and finally get to rolling that can.

I hope that this time I can get further than I did in the past, mostly because now I\'m doing PK for different reasons. Back then I just thought that it was cool, which I still do ( Come on, who doesn\'t? ), but now I\'m also doing it to improve on myself, mainly my concentration which I can have trouble with.

Hey guys, I\'m training like a crazy person; my girlfriend may never see me again:) I can now spin the psi_wheel the direction I want by looking at it. So, I challenged my self to spin it from 15 feet as often as possible. Distance is easier when I combine it with remote presence techniques. I\'ve been working on scale a lot also; so, I made a humongo psi_wheel which spins in a floppy way, but it\'s helping with lift practice. Last night I started spinning ice cubes; it\'s good to be off a track, plus it helps my mind accept moving big things. Still haven\'t beat the under glass psi_wheel yet, though it sometimes nudges just a bit. Last thing I noticed is that after trying to move something heavy, the psi_wheel spins like it\'s got a motor on it:)

I\'ve been trying not to use my hands while doing the psi-wheel, as I find that whenever I use them I don\'t control it, I just spin it. I\'m having a hard time spinning it without hands, but when it does I do seem to control it better. Need to keep practicing

I fool around with PK every now and then. The most I ever got with a psi wheel was an extremely dramatic wind after an hour of using the \"just do it\" method. Interestingly enough though, I can easily control cold air currents around me now. Not sure if that\'s EM or PK though.

I\'d like to be able to proficiently move a psi-wheel whenever I feel like it.

Where I am- No idea, its been quite a while, probably twitching a psiwheel.

Where I have been- Choosing direction of psiwheel and fluently moving it. Also sliding a toothpick.

Where I hope to be- Levitating a coin is pretty much my goal. It would be a cool one to show people because its so hard to fake.

Where I am: I can move a psi wheel(but not as fast to the left).

Where I would like to be: I would like to be able to roll a pen in a month.

Flying with TK is my goal, and psionic elementalism.

Like most of you, my journey with psionics has been a long one filled with ups and downs. Imagine if we trained consistently for a year. I\'m sure all of you would reach your goals. I\'ve trained for a few years now, on and off, here and there. Mostly cause it was just too difficult, it took much too long to progress. Now I am back into it, it\'s been a month or two of solid practice. I can spin foil on a desk, trying to push/pull now. After watching float levitate a coin, it just spurred me to try again. That is my goal, to levitate a coin. I\'ll settle for sliding it.

Best wishes to all of you telekinetics out there, keep trying don\'t give up!

I agree with Sas; keep trying! On the subject of trying, I would like to share a couple realizations:

(The following became a little long-winded in the writing and may have gone off the deep end. Just warning you.)

I remember a scene from Star Wars in which Luke is trying to lift his spaceship out of the swamp; It went something like this:

Luke - \"I can\'t do it Master. This is much different from lifting a couple or rocks.\"

Yoday - \"No! No different! Only different in your mind.\"

Luke - \"Okay Master, I\'ll try.\"

Yoda - \"No! Do or do not; there is no try.\"

Luke tries and the ship twitches a little, then falls over (Much like some of us and our psi wheels )

Luke - \"You ask the impossible!\"

Yoda sighs, then uses the Force to draw the ship out of the water and onto dry land. Luke is spellbound.

Luke - \"I don\'t believe it!\"

Yoday - \"That, is why you fail.\"

Although Yoda is a fictional character I still find the advice he gives to be amazing. Consider this: Gravity is one of the weakest forces on Earth; simply picking up a stick or attracting a piece of paper with static electricity effectively overrides the gravitational force of the entire planet. Taking this into account, generating enough psychic power to overcome such a small force should be easy, but because most of us have never seen an object fly of its owner\'s volition, our mind subconsciously denies this possibility. In some cases, it may take years to retrain our mind to accept levitation into its reality, yet we should never limit ourselves because the very act of expecting something to take years ensures that it will take years. I much prefer to let go of expectations and allow my own abilities to surprise me; it is the faster and healthier path. It could happen this instant; it could happen in a million years. But when you are ready for it, it will happen.

If it is true that psychokinesis is more like an understanding than a muscle, it should be possible to retrain ourselves to move almost anything, for the knowledge is already within us. This may seem like a lofty goal, but think: the practice of magic today has been constrained mostly to small communities like ours, who study magical arts independently and with less than our full time and devotion. What if one day psionic institutions become commonplace, allowing for teachers with vast life experience to pass on their knowledge to students? What if one day psionic textbooks become widespread, immortalizing the understandings of previous generations? What then? Where is the limit?

                                                                              Peace and love, - Johann

Wyndle,

Regarding your comment on gravity not coming from the earth, I am a little confused. It is true that Einstein\'s theory states that gravity results from warps in space time, but one of the key principles of physics is that those warps are directly correlated to amount of mass; therefore it is the mass of our planet that causes gravitational attraction. What I was trying to point out is that this attraction is extremely weak on most objects; it only becomes powerful on phenomenally huge pieces of matter, like the moon.

I should also think that, because the baseball is made of a different material, floats, and has a greater size than the marble (more surface resistance), it would go slower (not because of difference in mass.) Galileo proved, by dropping a small and large object from a tall tower, that gravity pulls both light and heavy objects to the ground at the same rate. Again, differences in gravitational pull related to mass only become apparent on a planetary scale.

Right now for example, I am exerting a gravitational force on everything around me, even you, but that force is so infinitesimally tiny that nothing in attracted to me (thank God.)

Also, I agree that belief is not the only hurdle, but strong belief makes it much easier to acquire understanding and knowledge. It could be that experience is simply an accumulation of belief; the more you experience something, the more you believe it to be true, and consequently, the more understanding you gain of that relationship. I could be wrong.

                                                                - Johann

I admit that both my example and my attempt at explaining need some work.

I\'m still a bit stuck on spinning things but I appreciate all of the advice I\'ve received here. It\'s a great environment for sharing and I\'m sure many can agree, it\'s not the most comfortable topic to bring up at a dinner party. So I\'m glad we can discuss here!

I can wiggle the can now but can\'t roll consistently yet. Still working on levitation - no dice YET.

Thanks to everyone for posting - peace!
