I've had a few very strange occurences, and I've had even more than a fair amount of dreams, where my gift always seems to be the ability to weild electricity. I guess my way of going about this is this:
I've been doing martial arts now off and on for several years. I've become strong in body/mind, and when I started learning psionics, I figured I could implement some of it into my training, by say adding more 'kick' to my attacks. Well, and it just so happens that lightning, (what I visualize when I do this) happens to be the easiest thing to picture (in my mind). Now, this will sound crazy, and I'm almost nervous to say it, cause believe me, it scared me when it happened! But...a few years ago, I was teaching someone at school, who was curious about psionics, what it was all about, or at least what I had learned. I was still fairly new to the whole thing, but I taught him some basic things. Well, someone else was listening in, and inserted himself into the conversation, by saying basically that we were morons for believing in this, blah blah blah. He challenged me by saying "if you can prove to me that it exists, I will believe you." So, I thought for a second, and said "Ok, I'm going to hit you, not hard, but hard enough to where, you will know." And so, I proceeded to do this, and since I had been training a technique in my spare time (basic punch, but with visualization of a lightning strike on the target), I delivered the punch. Well...he definitely felt it, he fell right on his back, his arms shot straight out beside him, and he shook for about 5-10 seconds. My friend got his water bottle, and prepared to pour it on him, but then he shook it off, got up, and just kind of looked at me. At that point, I gained another curious member to psionics! =) He said himself, that he felt like he had been tazed, that it went straight from his stomach, and out both arms, which would explain why his arms shot out beside him so quickly.
So yea...that was my first experience with electricity. The only advice I could possibly give, is to train your visualization to a very keen level, so that you can better see in your mind what it is you want to accomplish. Other than that though, I'm at a loss. And since it's been a few years since I've even practiced psionics, I'm not even sure if I can perfrom this sort of thing anymore. =/

Well, at the moment I'm only able to just cause an electric sensation on my fingers and others could feel it. Before that, I once managed to twitch a voltmeter out of PK on electricity, in which the reading jumped to about 0.3 V. That's all
Easy.
Create a current via induction, the same way a transformer works.
Grab a coil of wire, connect it to a voltmeter and try to create a turbulant magnetic field around it.
look into some of the research of a man named Nicholas Tesla. Genious beyond his era but no social skills. He was able to sit under his tesla coil for hours and after he left he was able to hold light bulb in his hand and have it glow. sheck out some his theories and ideas and research may help
As with any field of study, it is important to use the correct terms to make sure that there aren't misunderstandings. In psionics, this is even more important because terms that are used imprecisely or that sound like they come out of anime reflect badly on those of us who are trying to show that psionics is not a bunch of teenagers playing pretend, but rather a legitimate practice.
The terms used in this thread do not even make sense (electro-psion? ...really? are you a psion made of electricity now?). Not only do these terms confuse newbies, but they also display imprecise and sloppy thinking, neither of which are conducive to success in psionics.

When I started researching psi I did so with the goal of eventually controlling electricty. In a sense I'm the same as Martial Psion, I've had dreams where I was wielding electricity. for over two months now i have been working on brain states and their relativity psionic interaction. call it preparation for when i start energy manipulation (Which is tomorrow). And when i've done research on phychokinesis with electricity It always comes to the conclusion of current. now i haven't had any experiences like Martial Psion, but it has something to do with current.

And sorry I haven't been on in a while. This has nothing to do at all with this topic, but I'm leaving for army basic training in 3 weeks. Very excited/nervous/unsure all at once, and just want to say good luck in everyones training here at psionics online.
Also, when you take it from too much of a scientific point of view, you tend to only see one side of things. We all need to balance spiritualism with science, which is something the human race seems to have lost over the eons. I, personally, think it is totally feasible for a psion to generate larger ammounts of electricity from their bodies. Just look at a transformer, or a Tesla Coil. They both ramp up the power of electrical current, so why can't an exceptionally powerful psion? Now, I'm not saying we can all start hurling lightning bolts whenever we feel like it, I'm just saying, it takes a certain point of view for these kind of things to work in the first place.
