I was sitting in my friends louge and had a idea. Why not raise my energy and turn it into a shield? It worked extreamly well. Heres what I did.
1) Sat down cross-legged and started to relax and visualised a circle of energy on the floor around me
2) Visualised the circle glowing and strands of lightning like strands of energy coming up from the circle
3) Visualised and felt the energy covering me and joining up at the top just above my head
4) Moved the energy into me still keeping the 'cage' up
5) Pushed the energy out of me and formed a shield that was sparking off my body.
6) The usual programming and made it stay up all night.
What do you guys think? It worked well for me so maybe it will work well for you guys too.
just wondering could a shield be used to block physical things like say mosquitos, or flies??
You can program a shield to give a message. If you have the ability to talk to the mosquitoes or what not you can imprint that message of go away dont bother me into your shield.

After you create the shield make it a it more densier and extend it. It will have better results and with less programming.
That is great, but how can you possibly know if it worked well or not? The only information you have is in your imagination.

I take it this means you have testable objective evidence of your shields' functionality? Whether we like it or not our "imaginations" constitute a large percentage of what we experience, both in mundane and psionic life. When someone gives you a 'funny look' and you read into it, wondering what you're doing wrong, you're using your imagination to simulate the thought and ideas of another in relation to yourself. When someone scans a shield it's a similar process in many ways. You aren't getting visual input from your eyes, audial from your ears, tactile from your nerves, or any other literal input from a 'normal' sense... you are simulating reality in the confines of your mind and analyzing the simulation to provide understandable feedback for another. That is using your imagination practically, or using "the mind's eye" but it's still internal, not external, and entirely subjective.
First of all, when you draw energy you can feel your field expand and become more dense. Its hard to explain the whole feeling with words since it is a very personal experience.
