Does anyone else notice that energy seems to feel most pronounced near or coming from stone? Stone walls, fireplaces, anything brick...is there a reason for this?
Being near brick houses always makes me feel a little sick, and the last few incidents where I\'ve gotten a sharp pull from a room or building, there\'s been stone material involved.
...Yeah. *Nods* To clarify, I didn\'t mean to imply that various elements give off different kinds of energy. My roundabout choice for a mandatory topic name was pretty retarded in retrospect.
I\'d started to wonder though why stone structures always seem to trip me off. Maybe there\'s just something about stone that absorbs energy really well..? (I\'ve heard a few people around the community claim that quartz is really good for energy work. Dunno). Or it might just be that stone tends to stick around a lot longer than say, wood, and a brick house may have more time to pick up things than a shoddy wooden one.
Actually there is something to Noisy Ghost\'s suggestion. Let\'s take for example, the Earth. The Earth is a ball of molten and solid stone. And it is spinning on it axis in an orbit around the sun.
Depending on where certain events occur, the material around the area of occurrence will absorb the energy produced in the event. A common example of this is when wars occur. Especially old wars, and people who go to those areas hear sounds of cannons firing and people shouting and screaming. And also when one sees the soldiers of the sides of the warring populations.
Another example would be when someone commits suicide, you might see the repetition of the dramatic action, and you might not. It all depends on the area of occurrence.
Tis my theory. Not necessarily founded in fact.
i remember seeing sth on national geographic about how certain kinds of stone (i think it was granite) seem to have stronger electromagnetic fields than normal, and this is one of the reasons why some people (non-psions i\'m guessing)experience \'paranormal\' occurrences near certain buildings and begin to believe the building is haunted...this might have caused the feeling u mentioned
