For quite a while, I've been thinking about restarting my PK practice sessions, since I haven't done any serious practice since late 2008. Every once in a blue moon, I've tryied to spin the psiwheel, and then I would forget about it within a few days. I feel like if I had other people practicing and then posting on here to discuss it, it would give me more motivation, while also keeping me from forgetting to practice. So, I'm asking if anyone would care to join me? >_<

Every couple of weeks I'll toss the psiwheel into a glass cake plate with glass lid while the wife and kids are otherwise occupied. It is tough for me to get any peace to actually practice.
I am more curious as to how many people just train and practice using psi abilities, and how many also work on balancing, strengthening, and maintaining their personal energy.
Hm well when I tried PK in the past I just focused on training, not balancing personal energy. I tried to build up energy when meditating. But what does that have to do with my question?

I work on the personal energy maintenance more than anything, however should the opportunity arise I will often use my skills to my benefit. I don't really have designated training in that sense. In my opinion the real world will often prepare an opportunity to hone skill sets.
I guess i can practice tk with you
But i am only a beginner and not so much advanced
I work more on energy manipulation and enhancing mind power
But i think i can start now
I have recently begun practice again aswell. Its been maybe a good year of little to no practice. My girlfriend keeps me occupied, and doesnt give me much time. Lately I have been telling her I need a little more time by myself to persue my psychic practices again.
I've got all practices back up and running real smoothly. My abilities are all going well. As for PK, its not quite back at full strength. But I'm able to spin the covered psiwheel (no hands, of course) and occasionally roll things.
While I do hope to be back where I once was very soon, I wont worry about it much. I know results will come, so I wont force them.
My practice sessions for me will be more of an escape, as in "me time" to just get away from everything and do what I enjoy. And I believe thats how practice should be.
I actually restarted practice in the summer after several years without practice. I would be happy to join you. The one thing that is holding me back is time. I currently have 3 jobs, and am full-time in school. However, I have managed to get a sort of balance and am able to get in a few 30 minutes sessions per week.
Over the 2 months I put in during the summer I was able to get some results:

I am sort of the same way, I like to be challenged, and I like to have someone to compare results with. Not that it is at all a race, but it does help to keep motivation up.
To stick with a routine you'll need some thick skin and some spare time. It's very very difficult when you're first starting out to stick with it because you will go no results for awhile. I don't mean for just for 30 minutes, I mean for 2 weeks to 1 month. I remember many times that I felt like I was both losing my mind and wasting my time. However, you will eventually cross that bridge one way or another. Don't lose your faith in your practice, it will eventually work.
As the guy above me mentioned, make it your "me time". This seems to help.
(And I'm pretty sure the guy above me is my partner in crime from another site :P )
Since we are forming a Psychokinetic Band of Brothers, I say we all make videos and give each other feedback as a very tight knit bunch. The idea of this alone slightly arouses me. ;)
If we're doing this we need a formal name for our group of current practicioners. Yes, current practicioners only allowed in the faction of Psychokinetics. Aha! that's what we shall call it perhaps: Faction of Psychokinetics. Have a ring of YouTube videos. We shall all be considered FOPs.
Then, one day in the distant future we shall evolve into the Illuminati.
....ok maybe not. :P
But I do think it would make things interesting to have a group made up of only current practicioners that constantly cycles out non-practicioners. They don't have to be completely out, but at least identified as "retired" or "on hiatus", something of that nature.
Just an idea. :D
I think your idea is good
But i think we should also consider the opinion of others and wait for them to reply
For your information sir, I waited slightly over 2 long days. :P
Yes you are right about that
But i have been expecting a reply atleast from the creator of this post
Nowadays the traffic on the website has reduced drasticaly
Earlier it was flowing with members
But all those were fake accounts and so our admin was right in deleting them
Nevertheless, what do you think our next move should be
I am open to suggestions
Well, maybe we could wait a week for replies and just hope we get some more. I think this is the case all over the OEC, however this site seems to be the most active above the rest. No matter the case, if we were combining efforts in some way, it would be a good idea for all members to be current. Like not going more than a month or two without practice at the very most.
I don't know, I'm just freestyling here, if anyone has any ideas, click that "post reply" button at the bottom left of this window. :P
Glad I can count you in a7. :)
Yup,you can count me in
me = in
Me ^_^

Thanks, Aurafire. Your post motivates me. ;)
And thank you everyone else for replying. I think it'll be a good idea to make videos of us doing PK. I'm out of practice, so I'm not sure when I'll have any videos worth posting, but I'll try to record some worth watching as I progress.
Oh delicious, we even got Metalforever to join us.
Don't ever think your stuff isn't worthwhile. If it's a psiwheel video, don't be afraid to post it. There may be thousands of psiwheel vids, but you are in fact breaking ground. In all reality, one video with movements involved usually accounts for countless hours of practice. My goal is simply to get as much awareness out there as possible while helping myself and each other grow. I think it would really be something one day to have PK be socially acceptable and decently understood by many people.
Any more takers?
I'm also hoping to help Psionics become more sociably acceptable. Well, not only acceptale, but also believable. I've actually had some bad experiences in the past trying to convince certain family members that psychic abilities are real. It would be nice to be able to discuss it without having to worry about being mocked. D<
That aside, I'm starting with the psiwheel this week. My goal is to practice at least every other day and get some motion within the next...two weeks I think is reasonable. If I accomplish that, I should be getting a video up soon.
Got some motivation together to have a more serious pk session and actually taped something which I haven't done in ages. (So out of practice! Has a new phone so can mess around with my old one again now without having to be worried about glitches :D ) Sounds good, would like to get back into practice with pk again.
thanks to you guys i got some motivation together to restart my telekinesis practice which i had stopped 2 years ago. I think ill post some videos of spinning a tinfoil after i practiced a bit
I sense a few of you are struggling.
Remember what I said: Thick skin.
Rather than being concerned with getting a movement everytime, be concerned with consistency of practice. Don't worry about the results. It seems like a waste of time when you're not getting results at first. However, it WILL be a waste of time if you give up. Think of it that way.
Best of luck! :)
Thanks for joining, jac and mambu6! So how is everyone doing so far?
I would like to join in as well if possible!
I'd be happy to have you join. The more participants, the better. :D
Btw, for anyone who didn't realize, this thread and the one titled "PK Videos" go together (we've been posting our videos in the other thread).
