Hey, my name is Kev. I used to belong to a ki site, which held very similar beliefs to sites such as psipog and this psi guild, as well as this one. However, the site was destroyed by the leader posting fluff, and "teachers" lying about abilities. Eventually, no one was trusted and the average members lost all hope, thus ending the site. I myself am not one of these, at least not completely. However, I do wish to bring a sense of finality to my skepticism, or perhaps a sense of realism to the other sites, depending on the results.
So, what I want to do is to take those who claim to be able to do certain things, and put them to the test. Many of these are considered "basic", so I am sure someone should be able to do them. The test can be scheduled to the convenience of the psion (or at least as much as I am able to). It will be a live video conference, and I will record it for reference. If no one can respond to a certain challenge, then I will make note of it on this post. Then, I will go to another site and see if anyone is up to the challenge there. If I can find no one, then I will assume it cannot be done, or at the very least it is not as "basic" as certain people claim it to be.
Here are the tests I am interested in seeing:
Psi Blast:
The psion would preferably have the ability to move an object that has some weight to it. So, the object should not be tissue or anything as light as tissue. Printer paper would be acceptable, as long as the movement is without a doubt through psionic means.
Psi Ball Flare:
Though not as basic, it is not exactly assumed a difficult technique. So far I have seen no one who can do it. I understand that it requires a dense amount of psi, so I would not mind if you required multiple attempts.
Visible Psi Ball:
Same as the above, multiple tries can be given.
Force Bubble:
This can be proven multiple ways, it is your choice on how to do it. As long as it is clear that it is due to psi, than it is acceptable.
Macro Telekinesis:
Anything example, with the exception of the psi wheel. A pencil would be the best.
That's all the tests for now, kudos to anyone who is willing to try.
As a footnote, please understand that I am not here with a "I don't believe any of this crap you are all so stupid and gay and i h8 u and..." no, that's not why I am here. My belief was destroyed when someone I looked up to, the leader of my community, said that he had posted lies. Not only about techniques, but his own ability as well. Unfortunately most things even with video footage are not proof. For example moving a pencil can also be simulated with "stage magic" like props (fine bits of line etc). There are lots of videos around on psi sites of pk, have a look at them then draw you're own conclusions.
Things like psiball flares are more advanced, I don't know of anyone personally who can do them every time on command. Force bubbles come under pk. Unless you can sense constructs you're going to have trouble differentiating between someone using "direct" pk and a force bubble in use. I have no idea what a "psi blast" is meant to be. I suspect it's just the application of pk again.
Finally, stuff gets posted along these lines on a periodic basis. I don't know who told you the stuff you're asking for is "basic". In my oppinion, most come under intermediate to advanced levels of "skill". Most people capable of doing the things you're asking are not interested in performing for someone they've never met on the internet. They know it themselves, they know videos are not proof, so why should they? Your best option is to try it yourself, put the work in and then make your own conclusions. If you participate in practices and seminars you may even get some demonstrations as you are looking for. You sound like you have some skepticism which is a very good thing when approaching this topic. For the record I'm not angry or anything, I'm just telling you how it is because I've seen threads pop up like this for years.

I would agree that a video is not the best way to prove any of these things, due to the ability to fake it. That is why I suggested a live video, where the possibilities of people cheating are shown and removed. Of course, you cannot remove ALL of them, but I would think that we would get enough so that it is likely that it is not faked.
As for the flaring and visible constructs, I understand this completely. That is why I would have no issue with people taking multiple attempts at the act.
I agree that some of the tests are overlapping. Or more accurately, one of the tests could be done for another. However, certain tests could make it so that it cannot be through a different method. For example, I believe Rainsong (And I apologize if I have the wrong name) once gave the example of creating a force bubble to stop a moving billiards ball. If you tried a pure tk approach, the ball would be less likely to stop on a dime, and more likely slow down over time.
I apologize for the use of the term psi blast. I assume you do not use it here then. In that case, do you "throw" psi balls? The term was meant to be a reference to the way of throwing psi at an object for the purpose of making it go backwards. For example, making a book standing up fall over through psionic means.
Again, I apologize if any of this is not in the terms used on your site. Again, I came from a "ki" community, so I am trying my best to translate into familiar terms. Although I am not a beginner, any of the skills listed above have been beyond me or any whom I know (or more accurately, any who didn't admit to lying).
As to why those who are capable wouldn't make a video to someone they don't know, I have this response. I didn't make this topic for the purpose of satisfying only my skepticism. I did it for other communities. I don't want the hopes of others to be destroyed, similar to how mine were. There was a man on our forum who practiced ki blasts (throwing ki balls) off and on for 2 years. He was never successful. He eventually turned to different practices and found results there.
These tests are not for me, and not for the psion. These tests would help so that entire websites are not destroyed.

Anyways, another way to get some answers is to look at the research being done in parapsychology such as on the ions site. Some of it is being done by physicists so it's not just random people on the OEC's
To be honest it's been there and been done and never stopped websites from falling apart before. Simply because it's not proof. Reliable Macro-pk is not my strong point and flaring is hard! so I'm not going to volunteer, I rarely do demonstrations in any area anyway to be honest. The people I can think of that may be able to do what you ask either are unlikely to and/or rarely around the OEC's these days. Again due to the lack of activity in the OEC's there days, practice sessions are harder to come by, I know there's a thread in the pk section where something along these lines may be organised, join in, see what happens there. I've had instances of people moving things on my desk when playing around in a practice, hard to fake that one.
Anyway you can ask for a demo here or elsewhere, someone may decide to.

And it's fine if you don't want to volunteer. I wouldn't have when I was training. But then again, I couldn't do any of these. Out of these tests, I only personally believe in macro-tk, but I think that many people claim the ability even though they lack it.
I actually used to give PK demonstrations over webcam, and in person. Everyone knows I'm no longer what I used to be with PK, however.
With that said, you most likely wont get a very good demonstration. For a number of reasons. Psi is difficult. Let me clarify. Controllable, repeatable psi is difficult. It takes a lot of concentration to get into the right state of mind. Sometimes people will naturally be in this correct state of mind, and whatever psionic effect will happen easily. Even multiple times. But to get this perfect every time takes a lot of work and time to prepare yourself mentally.
On top of that, most practitioners on any of these websites cant do anything to begin with.
No the info on psipog is generally decent if you're looking for techniques to practice.
I just wondered about the other site as you said you were at a ki site and some of the "rad-ki" sites around have unrealistic views of what is "easy" and even possible with information that doesn't make a lot of sense. Anyway doesn't really matter which site it was.
I have decide to stop the test process. It really came to me when I was in a angry state after the site closed down. It now seems redundant. I'll delete this topic soon, but I hope I haven't injured my reputation as a practitioner due to the fact that I started off my membership on this site with skepticism.
