I'm a beginner to practicing Psionics, and I've successully shielded, formed psi balls, cleared my mind when needed, grounded, centered, etc. So, I'm trying to practice ESP skills. Specifically empathy and telepathy, but from everything I've read, psi sigs are needed to do so. So, what are them exactly? I have a general idea, but when it comes to me determining what the sig of a certain person is, I go brain dead? Might I just be overthinking this? Help! ???
For me, psi sigs are just a certain feeling I get for different people. If I am scanning a person I like I would get a pleasant feeling and maybe start to feel a little happy. The opposite occurs if I scan someone I don't like. It also works for strangers too. Try experimenting.
Psi sigs arent so hard to understand once you got a hang on em. Its just a different feel you get from different people. I figured it out by accident one day while practicing energy manipulation. I was using cards, putting the energy into a specific card and mixing it in with others, then scanning and trying to find it. I was doing OK, but eventually I realized when I scanned for it I also got a feel of "myself" (its a bit hard to explain..) So next time I scanned I looked for what felt like "myself" and of course, got the card every time after that. Now whenever I scan for my own energy, not only do I look for the energy, I look for the feeling of "me" because I know that energy that I made has my psi sig in it. This can be done with other people too, each person puts some of thier energy in a card and you practice identifying wich card matches up with who.

When someone you know walks into the room, do you have to look up to see who it is or can you pretty much tell before you look up? This is how it feels for me.
So wait a second, psi signatures is another term for energy signatures correct? Also, I think I have accomplished this, not entirely sure... It's like I have a different feeling for each person, do you think then that I am feeling there psi signature. Another way to do it is by dowsing, correct? I can do this, but then again, you can't be bringing your dowsing tools with you everywhere :P BTW, I think I read on another site that it is a good idea to clean your hands off with rock salt before attempting this (I think it was to clear away all unwanted psychic debris).
Yep some people refer to psi sigs as energy signatures. You don't need a dowsing rod to identify a signature. It sounds difficult but it's not really once you get the hang of it. Have a read of the part which is quoted from Frozen Flame's article. No problems, glad it helped :) I'm not sure if you can "friend" someone on this forum. Yeah the chats are often pretty quiet when I dropped by (Which I'll admit has not been often for a while). Maybe ask around when people are likely to be on and if anyone's up for a practice session if that's what you're after. Organised stuff like seminars is also a good chance to catch people around.
