The newest mod who was supposed to be assisting with spam got a bit overzealous and started removing posts and users that he disagreed with as well.  Joekerr68 was banned in order to prevent more damage to the forum.  I apologize for the frustration and inconvenience.

Metalforever is currently working on changes to the forum to help with the spam problem, please sit tight--the mods that remain will continue to remove spam as they are able. No need to try to report it all, just ignore it for the time being.

Thank you.

Re: To any members whose posts/accounts were deleted:

As unfortunate as that may be, isn't that a bit extreme? Why not just remove Joekerr68's mod privileges rather than completely dissolving the membership?

It seems sensible to me that Joekerr has done nothing wrong as a regular member, so joekerr's regular account should remain intact.

It is sensible however that Joekerr failed to uphold an honorable moderator account, so it makes sense that the privileges be removed, but not the full account.

That is my two cents

On SMF, global moderators cannot remove another global moderator's privileges, and metalforever, the owner, is busy working on permanently fixing the spam problem, so the remaining moderators had to delete his account to prevent further damage due to not being able to demote him.

Re: To any members whose posts/accounts were deleted:

Wyvernkyubi is correct.  However, in the event that Joekerr68 wants to continue contributing to the forum as a regular member, he will be able to re-register his nick.

Re: To any members whose posts/accounts were deleted:

Lol, what exactly did he do? Forums where pretty well cleaned up when he was around. Only accounts that got deleted were those that spam was used for. Wyvernkyubi's posts that were deleted where deleted because they had nothing to do with the topic, only more of his regular spew. Good information, don't get me wrong, but the same information on every single post, in a wide variety of topics, most of which having literally nothing to do with the topic. You can read those topics yourself and see. Other than that, nothing was done by Joekerr68. Infact he deleted his own posts that had no value to the forums. I followed the rules in the rules section perfectly well. Of course, when you disagree with a jackass, often times that comes back on you. Oh well. Btw, I'm Joekerr68, if that wasn't obvious. I'll be around reading, but its pointless because the spam problem will get worse without me here to delete it all every day. I predict this forums dying off soon, prolly going to another place, thats more active and less "preacher" status. Notice all the things that were supposed to happen that didn't.
Media page - still Youtube only, that was supposed to change a year ago.
Classes - Gone completely
Spam - You can see that for yourself.
Blogs - dominated by spam
Its really sad that it has to be that way.
It was fun while it lasted, I'll still be practicing, if anyone ever wants to chat about there theories and experiences, message me at my email, joekerr68@hotmail.com
and we can go from there. Peace Wyndle, ArcAvenger, Johann, a7, and the rest of the people interested in more than one point of view for everything.
