I have been surfing internet for a pretty long time
Especially the things beyond normal perception
But there is one question that I have been constantly searching for and still havent found the right information
There is minimum knowledge about that topic over the whole INTERNET!!!

My question is :

Is time travel really possible???Can time be controlled???Can you become the master of time???

I have never heard any psychic discussion about time. They say everything is possible but you have to put your time into

Everything does come back but not Time

So,this is the eternal question

Re: Ultimate Question!!!!

Used to practice stasis field on a propeller that was driven by a fan on the table.
I once tried to do the same on an already recorded propeller video that I hadn't seen. I had just left it recording until I took a shower.

Came back, it seemed to be spinning ok when I opened the door. When I was about to stop it, I noticed that the propeller was standing still. Thought it was geisting or something.

Clicked play and started practicing. There didn't seem to be any difference to direct pk - it responded all the same. Clicked pause, took a snack, came back and clicked play again. Continued practicing. When I opened the door on the video, I played a prank and held the propeller still when I was walking towards the webcam.

The result was exactly like any other pk video where I would've been sitting next to the propeller.

So, I think there's no difference between space and time. I think time is actually quite abstract. Time simply being the 4th physical dimension fits pretty well in my opinion.

Owltwelve has experienced pretty fun stuff. He has teleported through space, teleported to the same spot but different time and so on. He also literally experienced a day twice.

The closest I've come to time travel has been a 30 minute meditation session that according to my projection clock only lasted for -5 minutes (finished meditating 5 minutes earlier than I started).

Re: Ultimate Question!!!!

Depends on what kind of time you believe in. If you believe in linear time, then no, time travel would likely kill you in the process. Because the planet would move while you drop out of space-time to traverse it in the reverse direction.

If you believe in non-linear time, then time is irrelevant because you would just port to the dimension that has what you require.

Philosophy aside; this method works: http://grasshopperx.com/mind-games/how-to-stop-time/

now to disappear, some magickal force brought me back to answer this question. I will be lurking on occasion. NINJA SMOKE BOMB *POOF*

Re: Ultimate Question!!!!

Lol, great one!  ;D

Well said..

Re: Ultimate Question!!!!

First of all thanks for replying and for the great link(though i havent tried it yet)

But the time which you call as controllable is the time in your mind
Its not the universal time
I agree with the idea that you can control the time you perceive
Like you can feel an hour to be a minute

But thats just your thinking
If your mind work fast then you will feel slow time

This is what happens in a panic situation
The brain works faster and more efficiently so the particular person feels more time
But in reality the time is still moving with its constant speed

Now it can be debated that reality is a relative term and depends on what the individual thinks
But we take the general reality
The one in which the whole world beleives

Then can you still control time

I mean spend a year normally and at the end of the year you realise that you have not grown older
But your friends have all grown up

Re: Ultimate Question!!!!

Time is simply a mental construct to link the continuity of events along an event string. Time does not beget anything, nor can it receive input. It is more logical to assume that time is simply a form of measurement, rather than a spacial construct.

I'm pretty sure that we can assume that "Spacetime" outside of a mathematical exercise of measurement, is a failure in logic. Occam's razor takes care of the rest.

A universe without time, does not have the limitations of time. There is only memory of what you've done, what is occurring now, and event horizon.

The only acting force stopping traversal through possibilities is the bounds of what you think to be true. Further, with my experience on the astral planes, I have come to understand that nothing is true, everything is in your perception, changing your perception will open more possibilities into your event horizon. Thus everything is limitless without bounds, should you have the mind to comprehend a world without limits.

...

What do you think Sussch, am I officially back yet? I can't seem to leave. I think I've been gone long enough, I found what I needed to find.

Re: Ultimate Question!!!!

Interesting.

Some time ago I felt as if I was experiencing my past, present and future at once. It makes sense, but a bit abstract to comprehend yet.

...

Well, you're back in my opinion. Whether it's official or not is up to you to decide  ;)

In my opinion Time travel should be possible but answer to how will take us possibly many decades. I don't think time can be controlled and mastered since human body is nor ageless neither capable enough to deal with such big phenomena or object. Especially when it has yet to scientifically prove psychic energies do exist.

Re: Ultimate Question!!!!

This post is slightly off-topic. It is meant as a response to frequent questions on what is possible and what isn't -- don't take it personally.

I think the existence of psychic energies was scientifically proven somewhere in the 40s. Mind was shown to have a significant influence on the probabilities of something happening (dice rolls, RNGs and so on).

We are capable of doing amazing things and should never underestimate ourselves. We should not label any obstacle as too big until we have crossed it. It wouldn't make sense to give up without even trying.

I like the following definition of science: "knowledge attained through study or practice". http://www.scie...

True scientific method doesn't ask if a field of research is too difficult or not, it studies it nevertheless, produces models and tests them with experiments.

With measurements, nothing can be proved wrong; it can only be stated that no correlation was found. I would quote Fang here: "Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence."

If time travel has not been scientifically proven yet (I don't know, haven't stumbled upon any articles), then it means nothing more than that it has not been proven yet. Though, time dilation from Einstein's theory of relativity has been proven alright. Here's a link:
