Hey, I always thought that internal energy(chi or psi) was different from the energy of your aura(reiki?) and I was wondering, is there a difference between the two energies or are they different? also is Psi totally different from chi? I saw a guy set a newspaper on fire with his chi.

Re: The difference between energies?

Chi (also known as core energy in the OEC), tends to be a lot denser than the energy in your aura (known as psi) or the general ambient energy (the energy that's just floating around everywhere).  People usually find psi to be light and staticky compared to core.  Reiki is different from both, and is channeled for healing in the Reiki healing tradition/system.

Energy is energy, as they say, but there are different patterns, densities, etc.

Re: The difference between energies?

So the energy of your aura is psi? Wow, but if chi is denser than psi then why aren't we using that for PK? and what's OEC?

Re: The difference between energies?

Yes, the energy of your aura is what is normally referred to as psi energy.  Chi can also be used in energy work, however, you have a great deal less chi than psi, and using too much of it can harm you.  From what I have seen, the "frequency" of subtle energy used for psychokinesis is different even from chi, so just throwing lots of chi at an object won't necessarily make it move.  You'll need to experiment to find out what works for you, and please be careful if you do choose to try chi.

Re: The difference between energies?

Ok, thanks for the info! I think I'll just stick to psi for now and drawing energy from space.
