How many of you have seen the movie Inception?Do you think that the facts presented in the movie are real???
Like 5 minutes in reality are equivalent to 1 hour in dream, the ability to control your
dreams, or even the possibility
to enter another's dreams..
and also limbo and all that
stuff, any real-life facts to back
it up???

No. I think these are presented in the movie so that it would be easier to grasp in the material world.
Some of my dreams have had more-or-less the same time as in reality (2 nights = 2 days of preparing equipment and hiking into a forbidden area).
The ability to control one's dreams and create their own dream worlds is definitely real.
I've died multiple times in the dreams, haven't experienced any limbo.
Entering the dreams of others .. it should be possible, though I haven't been able to verify it yet.
Thanks for the reply Sussch
Have you experienced multiple level dreams?I mean a dream within a dream.
In the past two days I had been thinking about dreams too much and yesterday I had a three level dream. It goes something like this............
I had a dream about my teacher. It was just a normal dream.
Then I woke up from bed and went out for running as I run in the morning.Everything was exactly like the real world, the house ,the buildings, the road etc. So,I started jogging and found the road was changed at a distance from my house.I thought that I am lost and went back home.
I woke up again.I realised i had been dreaming.I was getting late for my running. So I turned on the tv to see the time,it was 6;04.I pinched myself to check if i was really awake. It did pain and now i was sure that i am really awake.I again started jogging.Everthing was the exact same. But this time the road was perfectly mormal.I completed my running and felt exhausted.
I woke up again. This time in reality.I was also amazed at such a dream or dreams.
Has anyone experienced this type of dreams before.Does this mean something or just a result of too much thinking about dreams???
Dreams in dreams happen pretty often, though, I don't think there's a stack limit to the recursion like in Inception.
You could try to contact someone in the dreams and tell them something.
Tried it once, his parents told he was not home, but should arrive anytime soon. So, I waited, looking around in his room. At some moment, his Mom told me he's there, asked me to leave the room for a second. She closed the door, opened it again (Matrix style) and there was another room with my friend talking to one of his other friends on the couch. Well, told him what I had wanted, but he didn't seem to pay much attention to it. Haven't attempted to verify this, can't even remember what it was that I told him =/.
Another dream was where a girl entered my dream. I was sitting in her father's van, talking with a friend. The van started moving without a driver; it stopped. She took the driver's seat and was not very happy about having to drive back. She was in a hurry, bumping other cars and stuff. I looked out of the window and was puzzled .. only what was visible to her, existed. Everything else either didn't exist or contained logic flaws. At the destination, she asked herself: "Why did I have to do this?" I explained, why her experience was needed, but again .. as if she never heard me (just kept asking herself the same thing over and over again). Didn't try to verify this one either.
Perhaps you could do it and verify that it worked. Though, I think inception works all the time, even when we're not sleeping. Have you noticed that after a discussion with someone in your mind, they seem to have understood things that they previously didn't? ;)
