So I feel insanely attracted to this forum.
You know the billions of stories about good psychic/psionic/magick/psi techniques? One common truth is that none of the require any physical tools, but some tools may be particularly helpful, such as patterns, a wand, even a tv remote controller.
This may or may not even surprise you but I invented a new kind of unknown form of vampiric magick. My best technique ever was real, but if I could understand how it really works I would be writing details of visualizations or mental synapse movements.
I call it the 'devil shield'... it is not actually a shield, but works in a rather similar fashion, it's one of my vampiric magick techniques once more. It is immensely powerful, and impacts the consciousness of the creator constantly, and positively, while it banishes negative thoughtforms, attempts to break some rules of reality or physics. And gives a 'pretty strong feeling'... unlike alcohol, it doesn't cause a hangover. I can't do it again even to this day I'm sorry, since I invented it by accident. Just hopefully you enjoyed reading this.

No, unless the Magician really believes it then his own psychology destroys him/her.
Indeed not. The wand is merely an extension of the magicians will, a tool such a shovel for a gardener... A rifle for a hunter... The magician would never entirely rely on tools.
