[EDIT: I failed to see the other discussions already established on this subject. Please take this post as more of an introduction and expression of sadness  :-[ ]

First off, HEY! How's it goin'? I'm new to this site, but not new to psionics. I'm very familiar with it, but not very skilled in it. I hope to get better.

Anyway...

As I'm sure other people have already mentioned, this site, along with others, are not quite as active as they used to be. It's really starting to seem that psionics is holding on with its last breath, and it's a very sad thought to me. What happened? Why, out of all things in the vast world that is the internet, does it seem as if the psionics community is dwindling away? I mean, you got furry communities that are going strong (this is an assumption. I DO NOT associate myself with furries. Absolutely NO OFFENSE meant to furries), but psionics communities are staring down the face of a cliff.

Unfortunately, I got into psionics around the time UPC went offline. Without guidance or any more help, I lost confidence and motivation. Now, if I (or anyone else) wants to get back into it, I have to search around just to come back to this site, probably the last active psionics site left on the internet. Now, I'm not trashing this site. It's a very good site. It's just that it upsets me how much psionics has seemingly taken a hiatus.

Two questions:
1. What happened?
2. Please please PLEASE name any active psionics site you know of.

Re: ARGH! The MADNESS!!

Yeah, it's unfortunate. Welcome anyway =)

This provides an accurate description. Generally though, they are people who define themselves through the particular channel of "furry".
