Yesterday, me and a friend of mine decided to give AP/OOBE a go. It is nice to have a close person with whom you can share your experiences, and I consider myself really lucky, because for what I have seen out there, these friends are really hard to find. Especially when you are fifteen. Anyway, we decided to start with Lucid Dreaming.
I only fear one thing in the Astral Plane, and I reckon that it is going to be my toughest obstacle. I have a problem with controling thoughts, so I might project some pretty bad things around me. In fact, I do picture the higher levels of the Astral Plane as colourful spaces, but it is the simple things, like your own plane that I picture as different. Because I think everybody becomes more perceptive to things that they cannot see while in their physical body, I picture me seeing spirits in an OOBE. I do know that you can come back to your body instantly at any time, but I also know that there are rumors out there that there might be astral creatures with the ability to steal your body, preventing you from getting back in.
Anyway, I should have started the REAL log by now. By the way, I'm writing down the details of my dreams as I remember them, so apart from the fact that I am Portuguese and don't master the language proficiently, I can also be a little incoherent. Oh, and it is 2pm in Portugal already, so I don't know if I can remember all of it. So here it goes:
- I was angry at my paternal grandmother (I don't like her that much in reality);
- I was staying at her place with my older sister;
- I had said some things to her, and my older sister agreed with them, but would not show (coward!);
- My maternal grandmother appeared (I like her, although our relationship has been decading recently, and she HATES the other GM and hasn't seen her in years) and she tried to attenuate the situation, but I coud see her looks of disapproal towards my opinions at the moment (why can't I remember the subject of the argument?! I could recall it when I woke up!)
That is all I can remember for now. A few days ago I dreamt that I could do the Levitation spell in Harry Potter (sorry, I can't control it ), but in a totally familiar environment. I think it was at home. But instead of trying other spells, I just kept doing that one over and over again. It is all very strange, because I seldom remember my dreams, which can become rather annoying when you have 'deja vu's about things that you have only dreamt before.
All in all, I suppose it was a positive first night, I remembered some of the dream, I can see some hidden meanings in it and it wasn't based on utterly unreal situations!
If you happen to read this by chance and have something to say, feel free to do so!
