Preface
What Does the Psionic / Psychic Introduction Guide Cover?
The Psionic / Psychic Introduction Guide© has been written with the intent of offering an introduction regarding different ways one can practice and improve upon his/her psychic abilities. It has been written based upon our current research into psychic phenomena and is mostly targeted towards people who either do not know much about psychic abilities or those who wish to improve upon the fundamentals.
This guide will cover different techniques, teach the reader to think critically about his/her results, and suggest methods of recording these results. References from various Parapsychology research papers will be provided for those who are more interested in looking deeper.
There will be some references to research detailing different models of psi, but this will be used as a basis for developing training techniques. Any terms that are used will be explained in the mini glossary at the end of each chapter.
What Doesn't the Psionic / Psychic Introduction Guide Cover?
The Psionic / Psychic Introduction Guide© does not attempt to prove or dis-prove psychic phenomena, or discuss why people are skeptical of psi and psychic abilities, because we have already included a highly detailed psychic skepticism section, and feel that the evidence is there for those willing to look. Psychic skepticism is also covered very thoroughly in "The Concious Universe", by Dean Radin. This has been written primarily as a training, and abilities introduction guide, so we are making the assumption you are aware and acknowledge the existence of psychic phenomena. Finally, this guide does not go into depth concerning methods that use psychic abilities involving prayer or magick(the psychic / psionic introduction guide *does* go into detail concerning the psionic and energy manipulation ways of using psychic abilities, however).
